What does Best of 2 series mean?
How is that possible? If someone wins the first round then loses the second, what happens then?
I tried googling but found nothing.

If an event is using a Bo2 series (should be called a 2 game series) it means that there doesn't necessarily have to be a winner for the series, and instead both teams are playing for points based on wins. So instead of trying to win the series for tournament progression, both teams are trying more to win each game because that will give them points required for tournament progression, usually in a round robin format. A good example of it is Dotapit (I believe) and it's becoming more popular in dota but not really other games.

It says it right there. On Friday, Master3 vs King. Best of 2 series.
typo
I don't think that's a thing.
It's not actually exactly a "best" of 2. Teams can 2-0, 1-1, or 0-2 respectively. There doesn't have to be a winner, it's just a bad name or possible typo.
Thats why China has ties in the standings
(i.e. Vici is something like 4-3-6 right now)
