Meet the 2016 NA LCS Summer Split teams

Is everyone just sleeping on NRG? just look at that lineup. On paper that is a very strong team, guess we will have to see how they actually play together. C9 also has a very strong lineup now, but no hai and we know how that goes. TSM picked up Biofrost who fits DL's playstyle. hopefully he meshes with the team well because that is one strong sup player.

The problem with NRG is that many people think Quas/Santorin/Kiwikid have "peaked" and Ohq is entirely untested. Unless they run a comp consisting of tank top/jg/supp with gbm/ohq on carries then it's probably going to go a bit like last split.

I have never seen Biofrost play. Does he really fit DL's style?

Sleeping? right now i feel bad for them, Santorin jg? if he playes like he did on TSM i would bet that he is going to run around and do almost nothing, everygame.

probally about like they did b4 they had to bring hai back into the jungle. Bunny is not confident in his shot calling and well Meteos is bad at it. team has good talent but no leader same problem different split. i hope i am wrong (c9 fan) but i know im not

You do realize CLG is a entirely new team from what they were at worlds right? They took second at MSI and beat SKT in a game. Glad you are like a year behind lol.

Hai will most likely not be playing on the main roster this split due to the reasoning that he did not go to Korean bootcamp with them and Bunny is just a better support than him. Although Hai does micromanage the team in game, they all have learned to have better comms in Korea which Reapered taught them to be better at so it shouldn't be THAT big of an issue anymore allowing Hai to step off the roster to join the Challenger Team and making them better/teaching newcomers that join the NACS team. Another thing is that Rush won't be allowed to JG this split on the main roster in replace for Meteos because he is still considered an import. You are only allowed 2 imports on a team and Jensen/Impact have those spots. He will be back next year though ^^'

Lol how much of the LCS have you even watched this year? Svenskeren was a monster in playoffs. Most people think Yellowstar was the problem with them the past split, but regardless he and Doublelift/the team had awful synergy. But I think the biggest thing is that they legit HIRED Weldon, the guy that just kinda waltzed around team to team last split making them win wherever he went.

my ranking will probably go like this

1-IMT 2-CLG 3-TSM 4-C9 5-TL 6-NV 7-NRG 8-APX 9-FOX 10-P1

IMT or CLG for the top spot but i think IMT as more raw talent, but i feel it is more the preparation they put in each game and new patch that will decide who will be first. TSM and C9 should finish 3 and 4 but chemistry should be the main concern for this team, at best they seem to be challenger for the top spot at worst they will fight for 5/6. TL lost a big part with the suspension of Dardoch, Moon isn't as good as him, but TL is Piglet team and Fenix can do great too but the rest of their roster doesnt look as good at the other higher team. 6 to 9 are all wildcard they could finish in any order. I personally don't think any of these team is ahead of each other. The good part of this is that all of their game will be important. P1 at 10 cause roster but i'd really like to see them upset higher team but i don't think it will happen.

I completely agree with this list. One thing though i think should be touched on is Darshan's and Stixxay's consistency. Darshan is an amazing player and i don't really think he slumps very much if at all. However, when he is put down it can really effect CLGs style of play. (not just split pushing) The just play heavily around him. Enter Stixxay, he was an absolute monster at MSI. Starting from solid all around play, to soul crushing opponents by hard carrying. Which made up for any down flops of darshans lane. So just based off of their MSI strategies an off day for stixxay, and a behind lane for darshan could spell disaster for CLG. Though there is still huhi, xmithie, and aphroomo which every single one of them can make up for an under preforming teammate. Just pointing out potential weakness. How about Huhi though, his MSI performance was nothing but good. I really questioned whether or not he was really the mid laner they needed when the going got tough, but he stepped up to the plate and just crushed home every time.

If you watched any of the SKT games (or Blaze before that) you would surely understand he was ALWAYS coaching to the level that he often was telling his team mates what to buy, where to go, and what was developing. Technically you are right but in the grand scheme he has coached every team he has been on. Gosu was signed to TSM as a streamer. He's always held this position. Similar to how OddOne and Dyrus hold the TSM brand, they represent the team on Twitch/Facebook/Twitter, but they're not technically subs.

Yellowstar stated that he wanted to leave the team to go back to Europe after last split, so the team shopped him and held auditions for the support role. Ultimately Biofrost won the role over. Again, TSM did not kick Yellowstar, but Yellowstar forced them to part ways with him. After a split in NA, he just felt like Fnatic was his home, even if he might have a lesser pay over there... he was probably having more fun in EU, and that kind of showed a bit in his performance with TSM last split compared to what we know him for.
