The point distribution of EUW LCS should be reconsidered
In football, we use a odd type of point distribution, rewarding winners with tripple the points of a draw instead of two, with the aim to make every game end with a definite winner and rewarding a winner more than risking the loss. This would result in less games ending with a draw and create more exciting games as both teams would fight for a win (in principle) and not wait an entire game to get a draw that both teams would be okay with. In LCS however, a draw isn't considered a bad thing, as both teams would have had to at least win one game. There isn't really a problem of getting more exciting games, it might even influence games in a bad way as for the losing team in the first game could only get one point while the team who won the first game can gain two.
Besides that, if two teams have an equal amount of points, the team who has (won) the most would be granted the edge over the other team. This means that when you have 3 matches with 6 games, one team can win 3 of them, but still be considered 'lower' than a team that has only won two games in one session. This is in multiple ways unfair for the team that draws more as unlike football, the aim after losing a match is winning the next one, but you won't get the same reward. Also there is no such thing as 'home soil' because we play in two arenas and you meet one team at the start and at the finish with the same conditions.
That brings me to my conclusion. Why do we even have this point distribution in the first place? Unlike football, there is no such thing as a 'draw' as both teams win and lose 1 game, and since every team meets each other twice in a split, winning two games out of four against one opponent can either 3 or 2 points depending on whether you could win two times in one match or you 'draw' twice. Therefore please reconsider the entire point distribution of making a 'win' grant only two points and a 'draw' to one point, or else give the advantage to the team who draw most rather than the team that gained most points with winning (think about the scenario of 3 points vs 3 points with one of the two drawing three times and the other winning once).
