Hello everyone,

I am currently doing a research project about e-sports and if it should be considered as an official sport. Note that chess is considered as one, since it is an "intellectual sport" ( recognized by the Olympic games association). If you would please answer the straw-polls, it would be greatly appreciated. it will only take you a maximum of 1 minute : ) Feel free to post your opinions about e-sports on the comments!

For the question about focus, it is a little difficult to answer. For both of them, there are times I focus, and times I don't. I used to play baseball, and whenever I was in the dugout, I wouldn't pay much attention unless it was the last inning, but on the field, I would be in complete focus. For video games, I focused more at certain times, but overall not quite as much since there isn't as much pressure to perform, in my opinion. I think esport is a better clarification for league though, but just "game" doesn't quite cut it either. I think competitive video games definitely have a different feel to me, and the LCS makes league seem much more like a sport than a game that doesn't have a league. Good luck on your project!
