eSports Betting - Asking for Opinions

Hey guys,

I need your input! My team and I are planning to build a betting website that is solely dedicated to League of Legends. We are all sports betting enthusiasts and we could not find a decent betting website for League, so we decided to start one ourselves. I do not want to promote anything nor do I want to ask for money. We would love to hear your feedback on our project if you think eSports betting is actually a thing and if it can be compared to traditional sports betting.

Our biggest effort is to offer bests such as "first blood", "first fallen inhib", "First to get 100cs", etc. We want to provide a fun and easy way to bet on your favorite LCS team. Here's a link if you want to check it out.

I would highly appreciate your thoughts and opinions on the whole eSports betting industry. Feel free to add concerns, critique, flames, etc. :)

I think it is a good idea. Vulcan is already a site like that but it is different then what you are suggesting from what I heard.

Technically (online; unlicensed) gambling is illegal (both US State/Federal; International laws vary), violates Riot's TOS, and in theory this thread by itself could subject you to legal prosecution or otherwise.

Whether it is a GOOD idea or not is irrelevant at the moment....
