Paying casting for amateur events

I'm organizing an event with friends and we want to make it as legit looking as possible so wanted to get casters. So, as you can imagine from the title, I'd like to know if anybody here has any information about casting. Considering this is not pro, would we have to pay for a day of casting?... Maybe like 2 matches... Bo3 series though.

I tried looking up the information but I can't find anything about the topic.

if it is a RL event you probably will either have to pay or get lucky with volunteers if just an online event find a community and you are 100% assured to find people wanting casting experience that you can try them out before hand and get some decent ones.

i think you'd come to agreement with the caster, you will have to pay through the game intervals as the caster is on your time, waiting on you guys so i would imagine you would say something along the lines of;

Pay: Minimum Wage

Shift Star: 12noon

  • Break's 6 5minute breaks between games, unpaid. (if thats your plan state it) Shift Ends; Expected 6pm, may run over if tie breakers need to be played, will be paid at the same rate for any extra time
  • Must be flexible regarding finishing time, to a realistic degree.

i would also higher someone who can just look at stats and feed this information to the caster, this is how it wokrs in the LCS/worlds the analysts feed the stats/history to the casters the casters don't retain this information soley by themselves.

the real question is how would you find actual good casters?
