capdetren3 voteshonestly... Elements looks...shaky , and i honestly believe their last season format looked a lot better. In my opinion , the reason why that team crashed and burned was Froggen , and while they still stick with him that problem won't dissapear. While a great player , and pretty sound mechanically , i feel that froggen is also a pretty passive player , that lacks pressure on map. Someone could argue that the curent meta heavily favours him , since most team prefer mage oriented mid laners , able to farm and scale in the late game. I agree , but even so , i feel he offers very little pressure for the amount of jungle attention and general resources he requires. That being said , i'm interested how Dexter will perform this season , but from past experience , i've enjoyed his playstyle and he also seemed solid. Now it depends on how good is his synergy with Froggen and how well he fits in the team. Tabzz was arguably top 2 adcs last season , and he probably knows at least part of the team well enough so i doubt he will have problems adapting. Their top seems mechanically sound at least , but it depends on how well he can play around froggen's passive style. I honestly believe one of wickd's worst mistakes was that he constantly played verry aggro , and did attracted a lot of top attention. That's generally good , and it's exavtly what a top should try to do.....when your team can take an advantage on the other side of the map. But froggen being a passive laner , and bot with rekkless also being a passive lane , wickd kept playong aggresive and getting punished without realiation. If their new top can manage to play around that , he's going to do well. If it's pure reckless agreesion again , then he won't be much of an improvement over wickd. As for their support , i don't know anything about him , so i don't have an opinion yet , but he's probably at least mechanically apt to be picked by a lcs team. It also depends on how good his synergy is with tabzz. Now , in conclusion , i believe Elements is going to be a mid of the pack team this split. If they don't rush it , and they don't fall apart as a team like they did in spring , i see great potential , but if egos and great expectations (which this team shouldn't have) put a lot of pressure on the players , i can see this team imploding again. Anyway , this are just my 2 cents...and i might be totally wrong
0neSh0tGG3 votesI may be a little biased cause I'm his fan since s2. but here you go. I completely disagree with you. If you didn't hear, the Elements we saw last split had some serious team issues. Noone in the team felt like a team, which resulted in poor performance from most of the players. But not Froggen. He did ok every game and some games he almost carried. We saw a lot problems with the team, but little of them have to do with Froggen. Shook didn't listen to shotcalling and kept going in like an idiot, Wickd tilted after dying, supports were not on an Lcs level, Rekkles and Froggen were too passive which means you lose the early game and from then on the game. With dexter and Tabzz and their previous synergy from LD, I can see this team work out. Dexter stated in his ama. that this is the best team atmosphere he ever had, which is miles away from the awful atmosphere they had in spring split.
capdetren2 votesyou literally said what i just said : mid and bot were too passive and top was too agressive , with a jungler that was doing random crap. You also said that the team in spring split had a lot of team issues , which is something i mentioned as well...and i said in my conclusion that if they don't let egos get ahead like they did in the past, they have potential. As for froggen , in case you haven't read what i said , he's a very good player and i repeat myself , he's very sound mechanically. The problem was that he's a passive laner. That problem can be resolved , if he want's to change and improve as well. As for him doing well every game ? Kinda hard to do very very bad , when you're passive as crap. Look at Rekkles's stats for example : he always has positiive kdas and good general stats even if they lose game , but very little impact in some games.

The prime example of said conservative playstyle being Rekkles : good stats , good kda , 0 impact. If you think that just pulling good numbers wins you a game....well , you are obviously wrong. Froggen didn't pressured the map at all , and when their top was being camped , their bottom side of the map did nothing in return. No drakes , no objectives , nothing...while the enemy team snowballed of their top/jungle advantage. If you think a mid laner should have 0 pressure on the map , then yes , i guess froggen had the stats to back up your claim that "he was good even when they lost" last split.
Eleshakai1 votesI'll be blunt... Froggen is still a skilled player, but he's a jaded, arrogant prat. He's lost any sense of good attitude. I haven't seen a comment made by him OR an interview starring him in the past 2 years that I haven't felt like he was looking down on literally everyone around him - even teams that beat his.
It's no wonder his teams don't feel like teams with a captain who is THAT arrogant. When you take someone who knows they're good, and put them alongside someone with an ego that big, they're going to develop one of their own JUST TO BE ABLE TO SURVIVE.
I have no respect for the guy as a person. He's a great player, but as a personality, he's a problem.

Supp Ins1 votesIn my opinion if I look to all seasons were Froggen played in. You need to look how different they meta became since then and in my opinion the p[layer can adebt to the meta but some need more time and some playstyles just dont work anymore the playstyle of passive doesnt work so good anymore and with these new teams its hard to gat to the late game because for most of the teams its an average game of 20 to 30 minutes. What I do like is getting fresh blood on thew scene because most player dont know him or dont know his ability with the team this is why fnc was in the spring split so good because they had new fresh players and they got underestemated
