I'm don't wanna become esport player or anything , just i'm curious . How does joining team like c9 , fnatic , g2 works ? They scout you and just send you offer or something ? I will be thankful if some one explain me , because i'm a bit dumb xD
Well, you have to be good enough in the game (basically challenger), go to scouting grounds, prove your worth, then possibly get offered a spot in an academy team (a bit different in eu because eu has more leagues than just academy and lcs or lec) and then finally MAYBE getting a chance to play in the lcs team as a sub and then you have to prove to be good enough to be in the main roster and get picked up by some other team. That's how it usually goes these days, more or less. Ofc you could be promoted to the main roster in the same team as well but usually it's some other team that picks you up. Currently though, in NA, it's VERY hard to get to play in the main roster from the academy team. Nearly impossible actually as only C9 really let's the academy players try to show their worth. Other teams just have academy teams for the same of having them.
