The only thing we should all be talking about is...

is how to solve the toxic community problem. There is literally nothing more important than this issue. We must come together and create a solution because Riot won't and can't.

Not commenting and attempting to solve this issue makes the problem worse and makes you a part of the problem. Think back to those commercials where one friend is doing something incredibly stupid and the other friend is just watching them hurt themselves or others.

Please keep the comments friendly. This post must be troll/toxic/bad mouthing free because we'll be going in circles if we just argue and call each other idiots.

You cannot solve toxicity in this game, as nobody can solve Hunger in the World. Even so, i do not think toxicity is going up nor staying the same, but falling overall.

The thing is, I'm already a seasoned player (almost reaching my second season in this game), and having played almost 1500 games total, it's obvious that I will rise in Normal Elo and get better teammates, thus less ragers, afkers, toxics.

I think the worst problem is low level League of Legends, were smurfs abound and people rage the most overall, and there is the next segment of the game in which Riot should focus: Low Level Toxicity.

I like the teamwork videos that Riot has been putting out. I think that's a good step towards helping people not be selfish, working in a team, etc. But the toxic community...I don't think that is something that can be solved right away. There will always be difficult people, children, and immature players. Maybe if Riot cracked down on some of these players (and I'm not talking about the report system) a little harder, perhaps that would help.

Is it an issue? Sure. Is it the only issue that we should discuss? No. This game has many failing points that need discussion. For example, Heimerdinger is the current punchline to Riot balance. Just about any argument they make can be hard countered by bringing up Heimerdinger. 1 champion should never be able to hard counter the entire balance team, but here we are.

I've been here since S1. You guys have it good. I remember this game pre-tribunal. Rammus/Yi charging down mid building only Mobility boots and zeals/phantomdancers was an actual thing, with the Summoner spells revive ghost. If you got 2 in a game they would race to see who could feed harder.

This game has come leaps and bounds since then, and Toxicity in this game is hitting some of it's lowest levels. For all honesty, those who were here s1 will remember the one called... Grackis... now there was a rager who could make grown men shudder. The "trolls" of today will forever hide in the shadow he created, though in his defense, after the tribunal came about he did make an effort to turn it around. However, the case already against him was just too great for anything less than a perma.

If people remember that the matchmaking is set up to cause everyone to win and lose equally, I think people would be less likely to become frustrated and attack other players.

I always try to smile when I lose knowing that I got the loss out of the way and my next match should be stacked in my favor.
