NA Amateur League Season 4 Signups

Hello again everybody! And we are back with Season 4 of the North American Amateur League! In the past we have provided a fun and engaging tournament stream for players ranking Bronze through Gold and I am here to tell you that we are recruiting for the new season promotion tournament! Now with that mumbo jumbo out of the way lets get to the important stuff!

Ever wondered what it feels like to be in a professional gaming setting? Do you want exposure for your team, or even to win prizes such as brand new .png images created of your team logo, free coaching lessons with Platinum-Diamond ranked players, or even cold hard cash? The North American Amateur League is the ideal place to build your team and watch a whole new league of players with all new faces and voices! If you want to be one of those faces then sign up and help us grow the Amateur League to be as big as it possibly can be! This league has to potential to become the largest re-occurring none-pro League event within the community and with your help, it will be. We at the NA Amateur League feel that there is a legitimate need for lower elo events such as this. The majority of the League of Legends community is below Gold and as such, a massive percentage of the player base is outcast from any sort of competition. That is why we started this tournament.

Information

Your players must be ranked between Bronze and Gold We can match you with a team! You need at least 1 Substitute player All Matches will be broadcast live at http://www.twitch.tv/naamateurleague Your individual players cannot be ranked higher than Gold 1 Promotion tournament will be round robin The league will consist of 8 teams and have playoffs, relegations, promotion series much like the LCS.

No Team? No Problem!

It is our desire to include anyone who wants to participate in this event. Seeming as how this is a lower elo tournament, it is unlikely that many people have full 5's teams, but don't worry. If you do not have a 5's team for the tournament then we can provide you with one. That being said I need everyone who wants to participate to fill out this short as a free agent form We will do our best to pair you all according to rank and availability. I truly hope you all take my up on this offer!

What can you win?

1st Place - Free team and individual coaching from platinum and diamond ranked players for 5 team practice sessions + 1000RP for each team member. 2nd Place - Free team and individual coaching from platinum and diamond ranked players for 1 team practice session. 3rd Place - A new .png of their own logo, (if no logo is provided than we shall make you one based on your desires) How can you help?

As you can imagine, hosting an event such as thing can be quite difficult, but the most difficult thing about it is advertising. If everyone who is interested in this event even posts it once on their twitter or facebook than I would highly appreciate it. The more people we have participating, the better possible prizes!

How do you know that players aren't smurfing?

While there is no full proof way of distinguishing a smurf, the rules do cover how we as a League handle them and smurfing accusations. We will do our 100% best in order to maintain integrity within this League in order to bring the full 100% fair experience of a competitive tournament to this community.

What guarantee do sign ups have that this isn't just a giant waste of time?

I created this account to separate it from my own personal account. I do not want to confuse my own personal interest with the interest of the community which is why this account was created. While your concern is legitimate, we can only say that the amount of effort I have already put into this will hopefully speak for itself. I can guarantee that this tournament will be my primary concern! We have had 3 successful tournaments thus far and as such, a multitude of player who enjoyed their time in the North American Amateur League.

I have a few friends but not enough for a full team, can we be placed together in the Find a 5's team?

Yes, all I request is that after you are contacted by me you make it known of your team members you want to be paired with.

The Bigger Picture

I have organized multiple tournaments beforehand however, I can guarantee that it is my priority to bring the best possible tournament to the lower elo scene. I do feel that there is a legitimate need for lower elo tournaments such as this. The majority of the League community is below Gold and as such, a massive number of the playerbase is pretty much outcast from any sort of competition. That is why I want to start now and eventually grow to be a large, seasonal tournament.
