SEA carries the IWCA torch into ASE
Coming into the 2016 International Wildcard All-Star Event as not one of the favorites, the Vietnamese team tasted the fear of their enemies and fed on it on their way to ASE in Barcelona.
Their rocky start to IWCA with a loss against LAS gave viewers a flashback of the previous IWC event, IWCQ, where we saw SEA underperforming. However things turned around quickly for the GPL representative and they came back with an amazing performance, especially shining in the Assassins Mode.

They have set the bar of expectations for Assassins Mode going into ASE, thanks to Levi who lead his team in both Assassin victories on the final day with his phenomenal “enemy reaping” skills.
Even though he says Kha’Zix was not on his practice sheet, his ability to carry games with two claws brought him 43 victims during his 3 Assassin matches with Kha’Zix, which he mentions was the most fun for him in IWCA -- especially with the 1v3 Triple Kill against the Turkish team.

SEA might not have been expected to win IWCA but not only did they break the misconceptions about their performance but they also had a lot of fun doing it. Surely Optimus and Levi are looking forward to more One For All matches as their Lee Sin performances brought the game into a whole new level as they played Kick-Pong with their opponents.
Carrying the IWCA torch into ASE's Team Fire, SEA All-Star team will team up with stars like Faker, Bjergsen, MadLife, Doublelift and many more. Optimus and Levi are excited to play alongside Faker especially, but Optimus extends his wish to playing against Team Ice’s We1less where he’ll get a chance if both players manage to reach the quarterfinals of the 1v1 tournament.

While even IWCA champions are considered underdogs going into ASE, Team Ice should really be on the lookout against the SEA All-Stars when it comes to Assassins Mode and One For All, for they have surely had very convincing wins against their opponents.
