I don't get the people who say "every other sport does it."
So is it wrong to be the sport that shows more respect for our players?
Its hilarious how League players overreact to this kind of stuff. Its as if you people have never watched an actual sport before.
It's because C9 is not only the only NA team left, but they also are the home team. It's all american friendly sportsmanship
I'm embarrassed to be an NA player. That was just ridiculous. It doesn't matter if NA made it to quarterfinals or not, we look like jackasses now.
Yea... This is not the way too behave. It has nothing to do with sportmanship and it's really disrespectful towards the oponent team. In other sports you see it happening after the player pr specific team did something the crowd turns their back on, but here they are simply the oponent.. And furthermore... Is this how you want to be represented as, as homecrowd?

Wow, really, I missed the first game. That's very disappointing, especially with League already having a bad rap for the toxic community. My peers on my home soil, can't even respect their competitors.
I find it funny that people still even watch the majority of the world's games. It's like they expect NA to magically do better then KR or China. If Albus Nox doesn't make it then you might as well just re-watch s3-s5 worlds games and it's almost literally the same exact thing. I feel that lol Esports is akin to watching the Harlem Globetrotters play against the New York Nationals. It's not even a competition anymore, it has just become a spectacle.
It's time a non-Korean team won, but Riot has literally no fkin clue how to run a professional sports league, so it's never going to happen. Expect boos until LCS is run like a real sports organization. I know I surely don't support it...
It's not hate, it's called professional competition. Show me a professional competition where there aren't rivalries between teams/regions where fans boo and heckle the away team. It's pretty commonplace at most competitive events. Booing someone is not disrespectful or personal in any way. There's usually a home crowd and away crowd. In almost every case the home crowd will cheer their team and boo the away team. The exception being ovations for individual players/competitors on the teams who have a history with the crowd or make impressive plays.
