Here's this week playoff thoughts from @meanmisterkien!

Another split has come, and soon it will have gone. The usual faces have returned to the playoffs as the region gears for Worlds 2017. Will we once again see TSM against C9 or CLG in the Finals, or will someone else finally step up and change the pace?

Calling it now. Whoever wins the TSM vs C9 in the semis will be the NA Champions.

It's pretty brave of you to count DIG out of the mix already. I'm not all that confident that C9 will escape them.

You're co fidence paid off. DIG won, C9 is out (robbing us of premo story telling) and TSM is going to Worlds.

Now if Envy wins tomorrow we can get a play off throw back to 2012 with a TSM/DIG grand final.

It's unknown who is making it to the finals. What would be the point of the matches beforehand if they already knew who was going to win?[zombie-brand-mindblown]

@Mean Mister Kien, In your "6 thoughts going into playoffs", Team NV's segment says "they need to secure a win here to atleast make the regional qualifier for worlds". Does that mean if they go 0-3 to Clg in the Quarterfinals that they won't be able to participate in the 'Gauntlet' tournament for the 3rd seed going to worlds?

Correct. Doesn't matter if it's 0-3 or 2-3 -- if Envy loses to CLG, then their season is completely over (FlyQuest would play in the Regional Qualifier thanks to their points from the Spring Split).

Envy has 20 CP and Fly Guest has 30 CP from finishing 4th in Spring. That bumps them above Envy.

I'm predicting some kind of strong counter-jungle champ that scales well as a frontliner too for the clg vs nv matchup. Perhaps something like kayn... to exploit OmarGod and still scale into a nice frontliner?
