FNC Foreign Players
They prove to be the only team to play good with other players in a different Region And the only to make it to Semi with 2 Korean

I know because an EU team is winning ya'll try to bash on something but hey, like someone mentioned HuNi and RO weren't considered stars, hell they weren't even playing in any LCS/LCK/LPL or anything.
Just because they're korean doesn't mean ANYTHING. You can't just import quality expecting it to meld well and turn out great. I mean NA imported an insane amount of players, including world champion piglet and impact and their teams arente ven remotely as good as fnatic is.
Game is about synergy
Not just raw talent
FNC didn't pick players that were stars, but players that they thought could have fitted well with the kind of roster they were building, and they picked up a guy that knew well English (RO) and another one who was willing to learn (Huni) so they didn't really have communication issues from having foreign players
The thing is they didn't just grab star players (Reignover actually was viewed as bad in the LCK, they called him "gameover") but players that met their requirements and also were able to communicate with the team. Reignover could already speak english and Huni learned it fast. So they never had the communication problems alot of the LPL teams had to face.
And lets be fair - the scouting ability of Dailor to catch those two rookies, to evaluate them and incorporate them in the team is amazing.
FNC put a lot of effort into Huni. He is currently quite fluent in English, even though it's funny and full of mistakes - in the past year we saw him from starting with a translator to going and giving interviews in English. FNC did amazing job with him! They played nice to him, he played nice with them.
Good synergy is everything.
Na teams are just a bit hostile from what I'm seeing. The players are a bit arrogant. All the salt to Dyrus, Doublelift is a loud mouth, I'm quite sure Sneaky is quite loud as well. I will dominate seems a bit harsh and overconfident at times. I think EU teams are more friendly, and more to the ground, which allows better team relations,, synergy and relief of pressure.
It's because one of them, Reignover, is very willing to cooperate and play support-y tank champions, and the other, Huni, got Yellowstar and the analysts to make a style around having 3 damage threats, which works because Reignover plays tanks.
And because the Koreans can speak English.
