SN LCS
Hi,
My name is Mamoudou ("Botchondé" and "Itachisenpaï" for my LOL nicknames), i am a member and one of the administrators of League of Legend SN, the major group of League of Legend fans in Senegal. Our community is composed by 2075 members in facebook and much more in reality : https://www.facebook.com/groups/208088819328778/
We are all fans of the game and the LCS and Worlds tournaments. Thereby, we think the time has come for african fans to be more recognized because this game goes beyond borders.
Since the month of may we are organizing a local online championship which is called SN (for Senegal) LCS. It is not a professional league but there is 9 teams with 6-8 members each in competition. Here is the website : https://www.lolsn.ga Here is the youtube channel for the games replay: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHvWVGCghaoaydxa0i8ulbA
Now we are arriving to the semi-finals and final.
Our idea is simple, we would like to organize a viewing party in Dakar the capital of Senegal for the final of the League world championship and the final of SN LCS, the 4th November. It could be an amazing experience and the ideal concept to expose what we are doing for our community.
Despite the lack of high tech infrastructures, E-sport is growing very fast in Africa, major events are coming this year, for exemple FEIJA in Abidjan (http://www.feja.ci/) and Africa Game Show in Morocco (https://www.facebook.com/AfricaGameShow/). The gaming in africa is actually knowing a great revolution, in particular as regard the digital distribution gaming.
The aim of the event we want to organize will be to bring together the passionate but also the newbies. And the purpose will be to start something great in Senegal.
I assure you our fans are highly passionated by this game and the tournaments arround, just look at our competition if you have any doubt, we just need a little boost.
What we would like is the support of Riot Games in term of visibility and arround the world, expertise and partnership. Our history might interest a lot of gamers all arround the world.
I am looking forward to your answer and i wish that we could find the way to work together and start something great, once again.
I apologies for my bad english which is not my native languge.
Warm regards.
