Statistical modeling in League of Legends

Hello, I've been a fellow summoner for years now and finally i'm reaching my master degree ( no thanks to LoL XD ). I'm thinking about my thesis and i want to apply a statistical models to league of legends to get better understanding of the matches and possibly give a useful tool to coaches and analysts. These models are now widely used for sports and i want to extend them to the rising esports. An idea is to use a state-space model to predict the best jungle route (pre min 15) based on some covariates like how much lanes are pushing, what camps are avaible and ofc what kind of jungler your opponent is using ( probably differentiate for every possible viable jungler is not so useful so i thought about clustering the viable picks in the jungle using a clustering method ). By the way i'm not really sure about a couple of things: -can be this model useful? ( anyone of you who have some ideas of what can be worth modeling please reply ) -how data are gathered and saved? -will i be able to obtain this data? I know data are submitted to privacy laws but i'm ready to do whatever is necessary to obtain them =) Thank you for your attention
