The 2014 Season ended in more of a fizzle than a bang for SK Gaming. Without a solid Worlds performance to lean on, the team needed to readjust for the upcoming EU LCS season. Cue the entrance of Konstantinos "FORG1VEN" Tzortziou and Hampus "Fox" Myhre, two completely different types of players who each bring the long-standing organization something unique in their respective playstyles.
FORG1VEN is no stranger to competition, and the LCS veteran AD carry brings an extra layer of aggression to the SK Gaming roster. A master of mechanics, he uses his confidence in lane to capitalize on passive competitors to take huge advantages.
While FORG1VEN is returning to the EU LCS, rookie mid laner Fox is making his competitive debut. After being promoted from SK Gaming Prime, Fox has a lot to prove on his new team. SK Gaming's former mid laner, Jesse "Jesiz" Le, generally favored safe champions like Ziggs, Orianna, and Syndra, whereas Fox's pool is far deeper, opening up the field for SK Gaming to try even more hard-hitting strategies in 2015.

The two acquisitions were certainly important for SK Gaming, as each player brings compliments to an already-strong roster. The team will need to learn to synergize well with one another, but with the experienced Simon "fredy122" Payne at the helm, and two other EU LCS veterans rounding out the squad in diverse jungler, Dennis "Svenskeren" Johnsen, and adaptable support Christoph "nRated" Seitz, SK Gaming is looking like a force to be reckoned with. As such, they've landed in 12th place in the Power Rankings.
Without much to go on in terms of pre-season results, time will tell how SK Gaming has adjusted to its new roster leading up to the 2015 EU LCS. This year, thanks to a handful of coaching additions to the team, they believe that if everyone can work together, they'll manage to achieve some consistent top results.
