Elements Region: Europe (LCS) Roster: Top: Wickd Jungle: Shook Mid: Froggen ADC: Rekkles Support: Nyph Make no mistake. Elements is still very much a super team. They may have dropped their former name of Alliance, but the roster originally put together by mid laner Henrik ‘Froggen’ Hansen is largely still intact -- with one huge addition. Martin ‘Rekkles’ Larsson made his name last season as the prodigy AD carry for Fnatic, bringing the squad to a solid second place finish in Europe at the end of the summer split. The first place team? You guessed it, Alliance. During that run, apparently, Alliance was impressed enough to snag the AD, bringing him over to replace Tabzz. With the number of achievements under his belt, Rekkles is well on his way to becoming one of the best AD carries in Europe, if not the world. On Fnatic, Rekkles was often targeted by junglers due to his ability to dominate the game if left unchecked. Now, on Elements, he’ll likely be more left alone as the team’s solo laners are also huge threats. There’s the ever-consistent Froggen in the mid lane, of course, but if Mike ‘Wickd’ Petersen is allowed to pick up a carry top lane champion like his beloved Irelia, he’s more than capable of winning games on his own. Rounding out Elements are jungler Ilyas ‘Shook’ Hartsema and support Patrick ‘Nyph’ Funke. While Shook is an aggressive jungler, looking to set up plays and get his laners as far ahead as possible, Nyph lives to keep his ADC safe long enough to get him on the road to Carry Town. Unlike many teams with their shaken up rosters, Elements is a relatively known entity. We know that Wickd, Shook, Froggen, and Nyph work extremely well together, and Rekkles has proven himself to be an extremely proficient bot lane carry. As long as the team can keep up a similar execution as last split, Elements will continue to be a force to be reckoned with. Who will be next on our Pre-Season Power Rankings? So ready to see how Rekkles can do with this new line up. With last year's #1 team and him as the the #1 AD in Europe, I'm expecting great things from this team.

yeah. and let's not forget. the most powerfull squad after alliance(elements) was fnatic. and no offense but without cyanide, xpeke, rekkles and soaz i don't see them being that much of a threat. well now they have 2 koreans so let's see how that works for them. I'm honestly more worried about UOL and Gambit this split :P

Why does everyone seem to forget yellOwStaR? He's a talented player as well. I don't see them being first or second, but I still think they might be a threat.

i'm not saying yellowstar is bad in anyway. he's a very good support player the thing is that they lost not 1, not 2 but 4 of their main line up. a lineup that was pretty much legendary and now he has to play with 4 new players and build synergy with them, yellowstar is good but he's not a god srry to say

look at what Yellowstar did he not only did well in the split but he led the new fnatic to a playoff spot. Now the people who wrote fnatic off are eating their words.

Let's be real here, lol Rekkles will never be the best ADC in the world with NaMei, Uzi, Piglet, Sneaky, Deft, and Imp still running around. just lol.

Dude don't even do that. Sneaky? Really? He's a great player, he is but don't group him with Uzi, Deft, Imp, Piglet and NaMei, he's not that good. And Newsflash: If you think Sneaky is better then Rekkles you are so wrong mate. And about his ability to be the best in the world i have this to say: experiênce. all of the players you said have 2+ years of playing on the big stage, Rekkles has 1 year + 1 year on the challenger circuit. Give him the proper time and environment and he can be, if not the top adc, one of the most feared adc's in competitive league of legends.

Sneaky has shown that he's pretty much equal to Rekkles, lol. And Rekkles has already got some experience so comparing him to the others is quite fine. No western adc will ever surpass any chinese or korean one, they may be equal but will never surpass them in skill level. And is Sneaky isn't that good, then Rekkles isn't that good either by your logic since Sneaky and Rekkles, as I've said before are quite equal. And please don;t use that excuse, "oh give him the proper time and team", he was on fnatic who was one of the best western teams, and also in a lane with yellowstar. He has experience, he just won't ever be on the level as the koreans or the chinese, just like any westerner.

Well Sneaky is one of the best western ADC's but not one of the best ADC's overall, all the other ones I listed are better than him.

I think that while Rekkles is maybe a little behind all those adc's you mentioned, he is still a top tier adc, and a player can always improve, seems unfair to say he will "never be the best in the world".

Imp got 2 penta's at worlds...the only other player was Rekkles. Rekkles came from Copenhagen Wolves...so did Bjerg and Amazing....Sneaky is at his best because he got given time....Elemts can do the same. Rekkles is with a good team and that can help him improve. He may not the best adc in the world but it doesn't stop him from being one of the best

It makes me so sad to see Rekkles go to Alliance, renamed or otherwise.... I had such high hopes for him. I just hope the attitudes of his new teammates don't sully his humility and strength of character... 'cause nobody on alliance has any of those two.

It shows that you have no strength of character at all if you use the internet to post hate messages like that. Just post nothing if you only have stuff like that to say

They're skilled alright... but their interviews are so full of hate and belittling of their opponents, that it's hard to watch - painful really. They're the most arrogant players I've seen in my life, and it saddens me to see a player like Rekkles, who has shown such a humble and devoted personality, get thrown in with them.

It's not a hate message if its true. Go back, watch their victory interviews during the last split of the lcs... come back here and tell me again that they have humility. If they can't act respectful of their opponents, then I don't think they have a right to my respect.

Please provide the links to these interviews. Froggen's one of the nicest guys out there, so saying they are hateful without providing evidence is merely saltiness on your part.

every post game interview he's participated in since his team stopped losing every game. There ya go... you can find them I'm sure. I watched all of 'em, they were all some of the most painful things I've ever watched.

Why? These are just predictions, but a team that went 1:1 with what was a top 3 Korean team and probably the best NA team - which by the looks of this will be ranked higher - at Worlds can well be ranked higher than a Korean team that so far appears to be a midcarder.

Elements success this year will all depend on whether Rekkles can step up as ADC and prove he can carry his lane solely on his own skill, I agree he is good when his team helps him but like at the IEM vs someone like Sneaky he was seriously outplayed start to finish.

But we shall see
