Christian "IWillDominate" Rivera has something to prove. It's now been three Splits since his return to the NA LCS after a year of being banned from competitive play, and he has yet to bring Team Liquid to a finish higher than 3rd. After a tumultuous 2015 Spring Split, the jungler and leader of Team Liquid is now aiming for the top spot in North America. And that's not even mentioning any goals for, well, domination in the 2015 World Championship tournament. Known for his aggressive and emotional play style, IWillDominate has risen through the ranks as one of the best junglers and shotcallers in North America. Possessing a razor sharp mind and veteran game knowledge, he's catapulted Team Liquid from a middle of the road team with severe communication issues to a legitimate contender for the North American crown. Now, with a stable roster finally nailed down, it's time for him to step it up. His Rek'Sai, Nunu, and Sejuani play has been top-tier as of late, but IWillDominate's leadership comes from his unshakable passion for victory. He's simply willing to do anything to win the game. Whether it's camping the bot lane so former World Champion AD carry Gwang-jin “Piglet” Chae gets the early lead he needs to hard carry a game, or taking a risky dive in the top lane with Diego "Quas" Ruiz, he's more than willing to sacrifice his own glory to make sure his team gets the win. The emotional leader of Team Liquid, you can regularly see IWillDominate screaming into his microphone, willing his teammates to find victory. He takes losses hard, but always finds a way to get his mind back into the game. Now, with one of the most talented rosters in North America, he's going to have to prove that his leadership abilities can bring Team Liquid to the top of the standings.

See here's the thing. He's a young emotional guy, who obviously has let stuff get to them, kudos to you for putting on the brave face of a 7 yr old, considering you had no clue what in the actual fuck was going on, but not everyone takes it the same way. That being said, he was allowed back in, and fought for the top spot and was heavily sought by a well known team, he deserves it. The only real question is, who the fuck are you to judge? We've all got our problems, and at least he took the steps to correct them, maybe you could learn a thing or two kiddo.

My guess is because most of the writers for lolesports are in the US, so it would be hard for them to get a story on EU players

Don't worry sooner or later some riot worker tells us we can expect very nice articles about EU. Like "all regions in details at Worlds 2015", or "what NA needs to do to beat Korea, China, or even EU"... I like to read about NA or NA players. But i would love to read about EU stars aswell. Especialy if they shine brighter these days...

this is the reason why I don't play ranked as much as I used to.

doesn't matter how hard I carry in the first half of the game, somewhere down that line the enemy team gets smarter than my team and knows who to pick off.

I am a avid watcher of the LCS, have been for quite some time. Personally, I have nothing against the guy, but I just don't find his jungling to be more than par with those in the LCS. At the moment, I find the NALCS junglers to be quite lackluster, lacking any aggression and for a jungler who supposedly boasts a 'play-making' or 'carry-jungler' style, you look at any of Team liquids games of the last year and I just don't feel that he did anything more than the bare minimum. This maybe due to the current meta with most of the jg being a tanky team-based comp. Last year when we had the more assassin like junglers I felt we could see the impact and skill levels of the junglers at a individual level. Now, they just all feel the same. The only thing differentiating them is the team fighting skills of junglers, rarely a individual play that highlights the jg as a force to be reckoned with.

The most exciting thing to see from any junglers recently was the xin xhao pick last week, it was a risk and didn't turn out any good last week. But that's what I think will set a jungler apart, to be able to not rely on the 'meta' play a champ like Meteo's did last year with his Nocturne and be a memorable part of a victory as a solo player and not just the team player.

The thing about IWDominate is that he used to be the most aggressive jungler that NA had to offer. Over the past few years of his career, however, he decided to play it safer. I always loved IWDominate because he was the biggest risk taker. Now he's like every other NA Jungler. He's not bad by any means, but he surely isn't the same IWDominate that I used to watch.

To be fair the LCS in general sucks. the western scene is just behind all the power houses in china and Korea, even Taiwan is becoming a strong force of teams besides TPA. But EU and NA are pretty much the "noob" of the world competition because of the LCS format.

It's not because of format. The U.S. and E.U. don't take gaming as seriously as say, Korea or China. Sure, U.S. and E.U. teams practice a ton, but Korean (and Chinese) teams practice day in and day out, for hours on end. They literally live by the code of "practice makes perfect", and the last two Worlds showing for both countries has proved that code to be true.

That is exactly what i mean when i say the format of other regions is better then the LCS one currently in use.

LCK and LPL do Bo3's during hte season and Bo5 in playoffs this means they play triple the games in a best of series format were the LCS does Bo1. other regions set their teams up for success by making them play with the need to adapt game to game which when it comes to worlds is very important because you have the consistent experience of playing on a stage in a best of series rather then going up playing one then going home. practice makes permanent as well and right now the LCS is stuck in the Bo1 mind set and only get experience with series when its playoff time.

if the lcs switched to this they would most likely drastically improve competitive experience for games outside of group stages. the western scene just lacks ability to adapt and play better at this moment.
