Season 8 the time for unskilled junglers to rise in tiers?!?!
As most of you know riot are making some new changes for jungling in season 8, one of which is making aggressive plays more rewarding and makes it harder for tanks to afk farm for 20 min and be a lot more useful than the aggressive jungler that killed him 3 times. But one of the changes that I feel like are shutting down great and skilled junglers is the change of cs counting in the jungle, I've met a lot of players that doesn't use this, and a few who does, and the difference is really big when it comes to their pressure on the map, and skill overall. I think it makes no sense to add catchup exp in season 7 then removing it to give aggressive jungler the possibility of getting a greater reward, but then remove cs counting, which is one of the core elements to invading and killing the opponent in the jungle. I can see some positive outcome of this change and that is to exactly measure how much cs gold you have compared to your opponent, but you can just see the items, or maybe you could make a different counter for camp cs, and one for cs tracking, because cs tracking is a trick that divides good and great junglers especially in the pro scene. it's just my thoughts I really like the catch up exp change to reward good aggressive junglers, but I really dislike the removal of cs tracking, I think it's an important skill of the game if you're on the high lvl, I think it adds a lot of possible aggressive plays and invades that shows how good teams are at communicating, but if you remove this feature it will remove a lot of possibilities for a lee sin or another aggressive jungler to get bigger lead than the opponent.
