A Tournament Organizer makes his own rules out of nowhere ... need help from a rioter

So basically me and my friends were in a tournament. Sadly in our group 3 Teams did go 3:1, but just 2 could make it out of groups so the tournament Organizer just came up with a rule which wasnt written down in the rules of it.. so i basically dont know what to do because in my opinion its unfair and if a host cant be fair and competitve there is something wrong.I just want to contact a Rioter to help us and give all the competitors a chance to win which doesnt exist at the moment. tl:dr: Poorly organized tounament, with an host who makes his own rules out of nowhere.

What was the rule? I think with ties they usually let the teams that win the fastest move forward.

Something about tournaments in general, is that the rules have to be a living document out of necessity. It sucks that you lost, but the nature of tournament rules is that sometimes they have to change. I agree that the lack of planning for an eventuality of three teams going 3:1 is poorly thought out. Furthermore, unless they were doing it to benefit a friend, I doubt Riot would even pull their free RP awards. Riot can't afford to sift through every complaint of a tournament irregularity, and even if they could, it's not really their business, again, assuming there's no misappropriation of RP.
