I've heard this term said by LoL Caster's many times from pro games such as the IWC All-Stars or the ESL games. I'm new to the lol esports scene and to lol itself, so I don't understand what it means. Would anyone care to tell me what it stands for?

When you gather enough of a lead to make a lane "uncontrollable" by one person. It's like when you roll a piece of snow down a hill, and soon it gets so big that it just murders anything in its path.

When you get ahead with minions or kills, and your lead just keep growing bigger and you become uncontrollable. Like when you roll a snowball down a mountain it starts small but starts to pick up speed slowly. When it gets bigger, it picks up more snow becoming even stronger until it is a massive ball of snow, just like how your champion becomes unstoppable and incredibly fed.

When a player and/or team is too far ahead to be contested and if so it would be an up hill battle if they do get contested.

Think of it like basketball when Team A has 60points while team B has 62points and team B goes on a 20point streak without team A scoring once in the 20 point run by team B.
