That's a lot of numbers

300 dragons? That gives me an idea, can Riot give players a personal statistics page that contains even more individual accomplishments (i.e. # of Dragon last hits, # of Baron last hits, # of Baron last hits when enemy team dealt the majority of Baron's health)?

One thing they forgot: unique characters picked. While I don't think it'd be a record low, it definitely felt like it was under 40 this year.

This is due to riot nerfing lane swaps out of existence. Lane Swaps allowed for higher champion diversity because weak laners could dodge a matchup and still stay relevant mid game. The additional strategy allowed for more niches to be filled, resulting in more champions being picked. Riot also didn't do any radical patches before worlds, so the meta was largely figured out. All these factors resulted in less champion diversity, which I think is a bad thing.

I like that they got rid of lane swaps though. Lane swaps were boring to watch imo.

It was boring when lane swaps turned into 3v0 "rush the town down really fast" and just farming for 20 minutes, but the cause of that was Riot making poor balance decisions throughout season 6 (dragon changes notably). In the previous 5 seasons the game had existed lane swaps were always around and were an interesting strategy.

However rather than solving the underlying problem, that they themselves created, they decided to take the easy way out and permanently destroy lane swaps which I think was a very poor idea.

57 champs total, 54 in groups, 44 in KO.

"The tournament’s champion pool featured 57 champions that were either picked or banned. Of those 11 were only played in one game with one — Kassadin — only showing up as a ban in one game. There were also five champions that were played two or three times. This means that by and large, the tournament was dominated by about 40 champions. That’s about 31% of the game’s 133 champions."

Less than 2/3 of their champs were used in worlds. Including a 97% pick/ban rate Syndra that received no nerfs in recent patches...

If you go by % of available champions it was a record low, barely beating out Season 1.

Total number of devices that turned the stream on, counting each device once per day.

IE, if you turned the stream on five times day 1, four times day 2, and once day 3, you would have generated three unique daily impressions.

I had the world pick right, then silly me changed it the day before it started and even tried to change it back. I went for H2K to beat SSG, I don't know why I went for the underdog team. So sad I would have been number one of two item 3070

I wish the Money pool would have been matched by Riot. If you break it down to what the teams even the first place teams get. I am surprised the teams are making much money.
