Pro names on Servers

A thought crossed my mind but I couldn't really find the answers so I figure to make a post here. What happens to the Summoner name when a player becomes a LoL pro gamer? Does Riot block the name from all regions and servers? If not, for example who would be using the name "Faker" on the NA server? On a similar note, do the pros get to choose any name they want? Just curious ... [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Nope. Favorite example is froggen on the NA server. His accountname there is Henrik Hansen since froggen is already taken. He somtimes looks at the froggen guys match history on stream.
