At the end of Day 1, SKT T1 K and OMG remained the only two teams that had yet to receive a loss but only one of them could maintain their flawless streak. With all five teams eying the top four spots in order to advance to the semifinals, no team wanted their All-Star experience to end after only two days.
With thousands of fans back at home cheering for their regional champions, losing is not an option. Come find out which teams prevailed on Day 2 of All-Star!
All-Star Challenge: Hexakill
Down two points already after their defeat on Ultra Rapid Fire, Team Ice remained cool and took a new approach on today's challenge, Hexakill. Coming out of their respective retirements, Misaya and Toyz battled it out once more in mid lane with a Kassadin vs. Orianna matchup. The game looked bright for Team Fire after both team clashed at Ice's Ancient Golem that resulted in a Triple Kill for Shy's Jayce. But Ice was unwilling to bow out despite the early setback. After helping Doublelift’s Lucian take a dominating CS lead in the bot lane, Madlife on Thresh began to roam in order to help the rest of Ice rack up kills and extinguish team Fire on the Rift.

With team captain Froggen's Irelia leading the charge, Ice pressed their advantage across the map and continued to set up kills for Doublelift. In the end, Fire was snuffed and Ice tied the All-Star Challenge score at two points apiece.
Group Stage
Even though SKT has been in a slumping back in Korea with their early exit from OGN Champions Spring and failing to advance to the NLB finals, they continue to be the team to beat at All-Star. Cloud 9's surprising yet impressive victory against OMG put them at No. 2 but it only sets the stage for a best of three rematch in the semifinals tomorrow. Will OMG rally a comeback tomorrow or can Cloud 9 show the world that western teams are just as good as the ones heralding from the east?
Match of the Day
SKT T1 K vs OMG
Looking to steal the number one spot away from T1 K, OMG started the opening the match of Day 2 with a coordinated turret dive by Gogoing (Shyvana) and pomelo (Evelynn) in top lane for first blood against Impact. Although it appeared OMG held the upper hand when Allen (Nami) and san (Lucian) outplayed PoohManDu (Leona) for an additional kill in bot lane, Faker's Orianna was completely dominating xiyang's Ziggs in mid. As the game progress, Faker took of the driver's seat and demonstrated his amazing mechanics with last hit kills with Command: Attack and his deft ability to dodge multiple Bouncing Bombs aimed in his direction. The minute advantage OMG gained in the early game could not offset Faker’s huge early lead over xiyang. OMG kept close in turrets and kills but they simply couldn't match T1 K's Dragon and Baron control, and SKT pushed to victory.
Top Performers of the Day
Sneaky

The quiet ADC from North America, Sneaky has not only made a name for himself during the past spring split but he continues to perform on the international stage. After picking up a combined 10-3-17 KDA against TPA and OMG yesterday, Sneaky continued to show great proficiency with Twitch today and even drew a ban for the Plague Rat in C9's match against TPA. The experience at All-Star bodes well for Sneaky and his team as they continue to expose themselves to the play styles of international teams and mentally prepare for the upcoming summer split.
Cloud 9

After defeating TPA in the second match of the day, Cloud 9 was guaranteed a spot in the semifinals but their real test of today came in the form of OMG. While Link did a superb job containing Xiyang's Orianna in mid lane, Cloud 9 really shone during team fights. With no answers for C9 today, OMG has another chance tomorrow to see how they measure up against NA's champions.
Day 3 Preview
Although TPA's trip to Paris has been cut short, the four remaining teams are still in contention in the semifinals tomorrow. Starting tomorrow at 14.00 CEST / 5 AM PDT, Cloud 9 clashes once again with OMG to determine if C9 can display a repeat performance or if OMG pulls out all the stops. Following the C9 vs OMG best of three, the second semifinal between SKT T1 K and the home favorites Fnatic will begin around 17.00 CEST / 8 AM PDT.
