Fnatic at All Star Paris 2014

One of the oldest and most successful teams in League of Legends history, Fnatic has a tradition of playmaking stars and historically great matches. From Shushei's AP Alistar in Season One to xPeke's backdoor at last year's Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice, the heroes of Fnatic create memories for spectators and fans all over the world. Though the last few weeks have been difficult, Fnatic made a strong showing at IEM, and with a star-studded roster, Fnatic sits poised to reclaim their throne at any time.

Top: sOAZ

The winner of last year's top lane skills competition, sOAZ has long been one of the most feared top laners in the world. His eagerness to duel and broad Champion pool threaten to change the game at any moment. With the second highest kill/death/assist ratio among top laners, sOAZ has shown that not only is he a force to be reckoned with one on one, but he has the highest assist count of an EU top laner. This means that while he can pick up kills on his own, sOAZ true strength comes from his ability to cause havoc in a team fight. Last year he and Wickd made live streaming history with their best of five match for the right to go to All Stars. SOAZ stole the victory with a surprise Nunu, which in turned was banned against him nearly all of All Stars. He once again shocked the world by taking victory with Darius. If sOAZ returns to All Stars, you can expect to see something new out of him once again.

Jungle: Cyanide

One of the longest tenured junglers in League of Legends history, Cyanide is no stranger to international competition. From the Season One championships to this year's IEM finals, Cyanide has been all over, and won all over. Cyanide's true strength comes from his selflessness as a jungler. With the second highest assist score among junglers in the EU LCS, Cyanide is perfectly happy setting his lanes up for success and letting them take all the glory. With strong smite timing and excellent game sense, Cyanide is exactly what his team needs at all times.

Mid: Xpeke

Xpeke has been a star since the inception of the EU LCS. His Kassadin was a must ban long before the rest of the world caught on, his backdoor play so devastating he became a verb. Near the top of the charts in kills and assists, xPeke can destroy champions just as easily as he destroys towers and inhibitors. With international experience, a tradition of winning, and some of the best highlight reel plays in League of Legends history, xPeke would be a joy to watch at All Stars.

AD Carry: Rekkles

While a rookie in the EU LCS, Rekkles has been preparing for this stage of his career for over a year. The young AD carry showed so much promise to Fnatic at IPL5 that they contracted him for a year while he was too young for the EU LCS. So far, he has returned on the investment. Second in overall KDA, Rekkles has been the third threat that Fnatic had been missing in Season 3. His mechanics are flawless, and his team fight positioning is near perfect. All Stars will be a perfect opportunity for Rekkles to challenge the best bottom lane duos from across the world. He made a great impression at IEM Katowice, but playing against the very top teams from each region could once again cement Rekkles as a world class player. If Fnatic makes it to All Stars, or if Rekkles is voted into the challenge, his team will count on Rekkles to be at his best, going toe to toe with some of the strongest players to ever play the game.

Support: Yellowstar

Yellowstar's current position as Fnatic's support is a testament to his strength as a player. As an AD Carry since Season 1, Fnatic could have easily benched Yellowstar when they were preparing for Rekkles, keeping the rest of their team intact. Instead, they let go of their longtime support, nRated, and moved Yellowstar into the open position. Yellowstar has been in the support position for less than a year, and is already one of the strongest supports in Europe. His mechanics as a carry translated into powerful aggression and playmaking ability as a support. Currently boasting the highest KDA among supports, Yellowstar is a force to be reckoned with all by himself. Add to the bottom lane the power of an AD carry like Rekkles, and Fnatic's bottom lane can match up favorably with some of the best in the world. Tune in to All Stars Thursday, May 8 through Sunday, May 11 live right here on lolesports.com.
