Greeting summoners,

I am currently writing a proposal for a college to start a collegiate eSports program. What I am trying to do is show this college that it would be a viable idea to start a program like traditional sports programs. My goal is for colleges to start seeing eSports as a real sport and for them to start programs for them that give out scholarships like you would see with football, baseball, ect. If you would please fill out this small survey for me and I would my inbox is open if you have any other input you would like to add.

Thanks in advance,

Reach out to Riot? They consistently throw detailed questionnaires out to find the demographics of the people playing. I doubt that they would be opposed to helping expand into the collegiate seen.

You probably want to start by getting the student government involved. Hurdles: -convincing people ESports are real sports. Sport (n): an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment. But have no fear Riot is here: https://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2013/07/14/the-u-s-now-recognizes-esports-players-as-professional-athletes/#7a8a9f253ac9

-convincing a multi-million dollar academic organization that the opportunity costs associated with implementing an Esports program are offset by the economic gain from Esporting events?

-probably thousands of hurdles I can't think of on the spot. Read the Forbes article lol.

Other shtuff: -NCAA has a lot of articles about the values of college sports. You dont really need to reinvent the wheel here. Just throw "wise words" back at unwise ppl and make some change.
