So every now and then I've heard that they give you something like free skins / posters and what not.
Basically my question is, do Riot give you anything for attending to MSG to watch the Semi-Finals live, since you pay about 60-75$ for your ticket?
If so just out of curiosity, what did they give for 2014 and 2015? also what about worlds?

I don't think they give you anything for free. That is normally at a convention like Gamescon, or Pax that they might do that. (See Riot skins and Pax skins)
I think durings worlds they had those cards that gave out Champion Thresh/Riven/Shyvanna in 2015. correct me if im wrong anyone.
I attended World's group stage in Singapore. We each received a pair of thundersticks, a card that could be redeemed for a set of skins (either the TPA or SKT skin sets depending on the card you got), a bracelet that could be lit up either blue or red, and a rubber bracelet that said something about teemo on both sides of it. I was pretty happy with the swag. Also caught a Poro toy that got tossed into the crowds. It isnt very good quality. Already one of its horns/ears has fallen off. Need to glue that back on.
This is all in reference to Semifinals (Brussels) and Finals (Berlin) from 2015.
During Semifinals, as you walked in the door, you received a white light-up rubber bracelet that you could change from blue to red, and a pair of inflatable thunder sticks.
During Finals, you also received the bracelet and thunder sticks when you walked in the door. After Finals concluded, they handed each of us a plastic commemorative cup as well as a Heimerdinger figurine (the one you can now purchase from Riot's store).
No codes were handed out, although championship thresh was bundled with the Championship Thresh figurine if you bought it for an additional $10.
