(Did not provide link for website as it is still under construction, if you wish to find us on YouTube where we have begun posting content, just message me.)

Hello everyone,

My name is GIlbert 'LaLaLakers', I am a 22-year old from Las Vegas, Nevada and I am posting this thread today in hopes that I may be able to find some aspiring eSports writers or content creators for my upcoming League of Legends website called Dizzy Gaming. I do want to point out at the front of this message that, as one might assume, the funds to begin this website were not much to begin with and given the current situation with marketing and graphic design taken into account, the 'content creator' position is not one we will currently be able to pay for. That being said, any potential creators would not be working for nothing. As most of you are aware of, most writers use opportunities like this to establish a 'writer's portfolio' in a way. As well as expanding on their current experience by being features by an up and coming website for the community. I also would like to mention that as I have told the eSports content creators that have already agreed to come aboard, I will do everything in my power to help promote your work and have you become established within the industry. This includes still being able to create content for other entities (including competition). I feel personally, that it wouldn't be fair to say "Hey ,I can't pay you but don't work for anyone else". Lastly, I do want to mention that although it is a long-tern goal, we do have plans to eventually figure out a way to get rewards for contributors that sick around.

In addition to the benefits listed above, I do want to mention that your contributions will not be rewarded with a simple name at the bottom of your article. There will be a 'Contributors' page on the website that will provide not only a short bio of yourself, but also links to all previous articles and contributions so that fans of your work will be able to find more. Allowing anyone to create quite a fan-base of their work.

With those clarifications out of the way, perhaps I should explain a bit about the agenda of the website. Dizzy Gaming is planned to be the premier place on the internet for unique eSports content, latest news in the League of Legends eSports scene, and also providing the proper information for players who wish to get to that level of play. I personally feel that there is a lack of websites for the League community that focus on what true die-hard eSports fans like myself are interested in.

So if this sounds like something that you would be very interested in being apart of, please follow this process;

  • Send an email to [email protected] with a small explanation of your experience in this field as well as anything else you wish to include about yourself.

  • In the email mentioned above, please provide a short-essay to example your writing prowess. Or if you wish to be a different sort of content creator (such as a video creator), then please provide an example of your abilities to create content and explain what it would bring to the website and in turn, the LoL community.

  • I will review everyone's submission (I do mean everyone) and respond as soon as possible.

So the website is set to launch within the upcoming month, and I personally cannot wait for others to be apart of this. I mention the time-frame because if for some reason you don't hear back immediately it does not mean you have been rejected. I have always been a sports fan. When I discovered eSports I knew immediately I would love it. I am finally able to turn this passion of mine being a fan into a business and really hope that everyone single viewer or fan enjoy what we have planned.

  • Gilbert 'LaLaLakers' Shirley

(TL;DR): If you are interested in becoming a content creator for a eSports gaming (LoL specific, for now) that is due to launch within the upcoming weeks, please feel free to send an example of your work to this email.
