A league of their own: Organized online gaming gives students a chance to rep their school off the field | CBC News

The only reason i started playing this game was because of this event happening in my home town, what are dedicated players thoughts on this? i've barely reached lv. 30 and have not started playing competitive yet but i was top-500 in Overwatch.

I don't see anything wrong with it, seems like a neat thing to do.

Yeah, It's cool but not really out of the norm. A ton of High School and even College teams I've seen are composed of Silver/Gold players. I'm on my university team and we're all only around high Platinum and Diamond.
