World finals in a nutshell

Looper gets everything he wants every game, dominates top. Insec plays Kha, is exactly as useless as expected on the nerfbatted bug. Meanwhile Dandy plays good junglers and dominates the entire map. Corn sucks. Pawn is good. Uzi is clearly better than Imp but it doesn't matter, the coordination just isn't there, language barrier LOL.

SHRC had zero chance going into this, but I had hoped they'd take at least one game. But instead, they play "by the books" and hand Samsung free wins instead of making them try.

Korea wins worlds 2 years running. Maybe next year someone in a region will figure out how to play vs koreans.

Only way to beat best koreans teams is to outplay them at early game, if u go even or slighlty lose u are doomed. Check out how Gambit Gaming crushed azubu teams at IEM Katowice.

Uzi is celarly better than imp? I think you don´t really understand the game. Winning the lane by a tiny bit doesn´t matter anything, it´s all about controlling the map and teamfighting - and imp adds a lot more to his team than Uzi + Uzi just doesn´t seem to understand the Champion he´s playing - picking Tris vs SSW, a team with an incredible dominant early-midgame is just ridiculously missplaced. You need fighting-power from the get go vs such a Team...not a scaling champ and prayers that carry you to min 30, eventually. Though apparently the only early-mid ADC Uzi can play seems to be Lucian, wise choice for SSW to ban him.

EU has a huge chance next year with the switch to tactics and map control.> Looper gets everything he wants every game, dominates top.

SHRC is all about Uzi hitting power spike while InSec somehow manages to keep the lanes from getting crushed

You skipped game 3.

World finals in a nutshell: You can't win with only one star(Uzi) in your team. You need all your players to be excellent. SSW have a great top, great mid, great jungler, great adc and a great support. Their synergy was just perfect.

SHRC just got a lucky break with the bracket and groups in that they did not have to play any Korean teams until the finals. I would have rather seen a western team get to the final (NA or EU).

Isn't SHRC a Korean team too? Soooo that was a KR win regardless.

SHRC is 3/5 chinese, Zero and Insec are Korean.
