Piglet: Returning to form

After a somewhat frustrating debut, Gwang-jin "Piglet" Chae seemed in fighting form in Team Liquid's Week 4 victory over Team 8 this weekend at the NA LCS. We caught up with the Korean AD carry after the match to find out how the former World Champion is getting back to his old self. More than anything, Piglet stressed his rigorous training schedule, as he seems nervous about disappointing his new NA fans. "This week while we were preparing, I practiced really, really hard," he told Lolesports. "There were times I was sleeping only two hours, but mostly around three to four hours, because I was practicing." It seems to have worked, as his kill-happy 6/1/7 performance on Graves had a massive impact on the match. On top of it being good with Liquid's AOE oriented team composition, Piglet explains that when he was in Korea, he played a ton of Graves. And perhaps more importantly, he's been practicing plenty with The Outlaw recently. And while Liquid may have appeared a bit shaky in the past, every week they're looking more and more confident on the NA LCS stage. "I haven’t adapted yet, so that’s difficult," Piglet says. But due to his fans, he seems to sincerely enjoy playing in America. "In Korea the fans are blocked off from us with the booths. But in America we can hear all the fans and I like that," he said, quickly adding in a, "Thank you very much!" In order to not let down his fans, Piglet's set reasonable goals for himself. "For me, the first challenge in America is the LCS Championships." With a slightly less ambitious goal than Worlds to shoot for, all he hopes is to have his fans on his side. "Thank you for supporting me and please keep supporting me," he says with a smile. "Love you all!" It does not seem like he is not working out. Communication and other issues seem to great. Keith can be molded and he will do what he is told. Time for Steve to make a tough call, team moral is not good, synergy is not there. You have one of the best supports ever laning with an ADC he cant talk to.

Piglet had 4 kills in his last OGN bo5, and he doesn't play any meta champions.

Plz stop pretending piglet is one of the best adc in the world. He is good but he was the worst member of skt. He was carried with his passive playstyle by the rest of his team. And you paired him with xpecial? A support who when he was at his best in his career was paired with wildturtle....the most aggressive adc in na history. Piglet isnt good enough. And he doesnt synergize with the playstyle his support is best at. This will not end well
