Hi, ladies and gentlemen, i'm a LoL player and Law student, this is not my main server, but I would like to ask some help from you guys!

In order to graduate I need write one scientific article for my college, so I thought "Esport is getting bigger every day, LoL is also getting bigger, so why not talk about it and help spread the passion for Esports? But just a few people in my college know about Esport and LoL, probably even less teachers knows about it, my ideas are to talk about Esport teams/cyber athletes and "laws" to avoid abuses or Look through Streamers that works for Team's with the lenses of work rights, or one view about the needs one Team has to supplie for the cyber athlete make his job. Also where I live doesn't have a good amount of contents for research.

What I want from you guys? it's simple, please just answer me a few questions to help me with my research and ideas!

  1. Theres a law for Esports here (NA)?
  2. How does it works or why one Team contracts "Streamers"(the job one streamer do for a Team and which kind of contract he has or what is his/her law rights in your view)?
  3. You guys know where I can find links for scientific articles about both of it? (articles about law and Esport or even more specific about League of Legends but it can be general)

If you want to tell me anything that would help, feel free to say it!

My name is Peter and I'm grateful for your help.

I know that Esports have laws in NA due to competivitive rulings done in the past. I do not know how to find the rules, but would guess that they are accessible otherwise teams would not know what rules to use.

Streaming contracts are usually between the team and a business and the specifics of the contracts would likely be a case by case basis.

I do not know about scientific articles for E sports themselves, but I assume that there laws would be similar to physical sports and follow similar principles.
