the schedule on week 2 is a little bit unfair. every team should play at least once consecutively during this stage.
i hope riot will take a look at this schedule again.
For example, i thnk its better like this: changes G2 vs ROX ANX vs CLG CLG vs G2 G2 vs ANX ANX vs ROX ROX vs CLG
Or, there is some rule regarding the schedule matches during week 2.
There's one thing you can see :
Every first seed has a 1 game break and a 2 game break.
Every first picked second seed (G2, SKT, AHQ and RNG) have 1 game break between each game.
The others have 2 games in a row.
Plss riot.. Take note about this issue..
i don't understand how they can justify how some teams have to play 2 games in a row and others get time in between. It just gives certain team an advantage. You lose a match and you only get 10 min break before the next one.
Day one. CLG is back to back. Albus is back to back. Yet Rox and G2 have 2 games in between their games. Day two. H2K is back to back. Intz is back to back. AHQ and EDG a have games in between. Day Three. Slypse and SSG back to back. TSM and RNG have games in between Day Four. C9 and IM have back to back games. SKKT and FW have games in between
There is no consistency either. It's not like top team gets priority or the lowest teams. It's random. I wonder if teams were ask or was this just planned by riot. I would not mind, if I was a player but the casters/analyst always bring up "endurance" or state of mind when a team has to play back to back games because one loss can carry on so much.
We know this to be true because it happened last year with C9.

With this schedule though, everyone will know what one team has done before playing their last game and one team will still have two to go. That's not fair in a different sort of way.
I agree with this post. The schedule for week 2 as it currently stands doesn't seem equal or fair for all teams involved. It is too easy for a team to tilt after their first game and not have time to recover if they have to play a second game against a different team right after they just lost.
I would say that it was this format which was one of the unseen culprits for the horrendous week 2 for NA at worlds last year. I get that it's easier to have it one group per day in week 2 for the possibility of tie breakers, but it kind of screws teams that have to play consecutive matches.
