Bjerg is the one of the best midlaners in league. The only person I can think of that can really go toe to toe with him is Faker. But still TSM! TSM!

I don't know, Jensen has become a force. Last year I thought he looked pretty over hyped, but he has calmed down and doesn't get frustrated nearly as easily. Still, Bjergsen at his best is still better. TSM! TSM! TSM!

Faker did pretty bad this game tho...I wonder why.

I like both Teams.

But IMT will steamroll TSM hopefully. They have 2 european players we imported from Korea after all ;P

I don't think so. I believe that this is what bjerg will do to all of them. https://media.giphy.com/media/2Pk9newN8fkbu/giphy.gif

Bjerg definitely is good, probably better than Pobelter. But TSMs shotcalling lately hasn't been that good sadly.

Laughing Fish1 votes

This is very true. From what I have gathered from watching interviews, they don't really have a defined leader. Yellowstar makes a lot of decisions, but Bjergsen also is making decisions and calling some plays. And Doublelift is just kind of doing his own thing. I think this is why it looks so disjointed.

IMT is incredible, but their victory is not a guarantee. Sure, they are still the favorite that match, but playoffs TSM has always been different than regular season TSM. Either way, I look forwards to their games. Should be a hell of a series.

While TSM has been good at best of 5s that still remains to be seen with this new team. I do think they will do better than they have been, but if they don't preform well it really won't surprise me. Their first match is also against C9 who is also good at best of 5s, but have also been out preforming TSM.

Cloud 9 is certainly a dangerous opponent. Hai is as smart as ever, and Jensen has become an absolute beast. The series will be intense.

Hai is the number on shot caller in all of lol.

This is very true. Especially when you consider how terrible c9 has done when Hai is not there. Hai's next medical issue will be his back going out from carrying c9 for so long.

I think it's really going to come down to the bottom lane. Mid should go to Bjerg even though it will be closer than it was last season, and no matter how amazing Hauntzer has been I give Balls the slight advantage in that match up. As for Jungle I think thy're relatively even. Rush makes more plays than Sven typically does, but throughout this split I think Sven's play has been relatively well placed whereas Rush tends to take risks he really doesn't need to take even if they typically work out.

That is what the Bjerger-King will say to Pobelter

Unless it's a contest between which team has more vowels in their name, then I really don't think TSM stands any sort of chance. Bard

My man laughing fish you couldn't be more wrong on this one. Have you seen TSM play in a best of 5 this year? They aren't the same as last year.

TSM are looking crap right now though. You can't even call them a team, it's more like 5 Solo Queue players that happened to get matched together.

Abyssphere1 votes

TSM has always been pretty confident in beating the best teams in best of 1s and extremely confident in beating them in best of 5s. Right now they are pretty bad at beating the best team in best of 1s, so there's a pretty big gap to bridge.

Not sure if you really have any faith in them beating Immortals or if this is just "let's ignore the facts and have hype :D" fanboy fun though.

Somewhere in between. IMT is clearly the favorite in that matchup, and the odds are stacked heavily in their favor. But TSM should not be counted out yet, as they have an incredible amount of raw talent that just needs guidance. The playoffs could provide the motivation TSM needs, and if it does TSM could stand with the best of them.

My personal belief there is that their motivation for the playoffs shouldn't be significantly more powerful than their motivation towards the end of the split. Given that they performed a lot worse towards the end of the split (when the pressure was on), I'd be more inclined to expect the even more significant pressure of the playoffs to further worsen their performance given that this is, for a lot of people, their last shot at proving that they can perform as a team.

I just don't think teams tend to miraculously come together like you're imagining. I mean I may be missing an obvious example but it just doesn't seem to happen really. Fnatic doing so well at MSI was a complete fluke and they went back to performing poorly in the EU LCS.

TEAM SOLOMID Vs CLOUD 9 ( in the first round) just doens't seem right. Bjergsen Hai Rush Yellowstar Doublelift Sneaky what a Series 3-0 3-1 3-2 whatever number of games it goes it should be fun to watch.

Hauntzer vs Huni WINNER HUNI (makes more plays and the best top for 2 years now) Svenskeren vs Reignover WINNER Reignover( the first blood for team king he puts the Team first before himself) Bjergsen vs Pobelter WINNER Pobelter by default( he plays so safe that he will not give Bjergsen a chance to carry by solo killing him) Doubelift vs Wildturtle WINNER Wildturtle he is just unpredictable and that is scary Yellow vs Adrain WINNER Adrain the Assist leader for 2 splits in a row now has become the best support maybe 2nd behind Aphromoo WINNER OF THE SERIES ( will not happen) Tsm needs to beat C9 first and that needs to be addressed before we start to think about TSM vs Immortals
