Hey, all so I've put the past few years into playing league. like caring about it, playing it for real. like a sport, you know how they want E sports to be int he Olympics or whatever. well anyways, so Im playing this game, and Im getting flamed and I absolutely let them have it back, why should i be flamed and not be able to defend myself? Im not running it down mid, Im still trying to win the game y'know? 99% of the time im giving it 110% all the time. well anyways. so im banned. and it leaves a pit in my stomach a little bit because i shed a few tears of frustration, spent time in practice hours upon hours learning and playing and was easily 1v5ing games, quite a bit of money in skins for me, my friends.. and now I cant. all that time and money is wasted because people are"report this" and "report that" im sorry your bitch ass feelings cant take harsh words when you start flaming me first. don't want the fire. don't play in the kitchen. well anyways let me tell ya RIOT. you will NEVER make it as a real sport if the other players can get someone else barred from the field because they couldn't handle the word "fuck" stop giving other players the ability to harass people and then report them when they get fed up with the bullshit. ya. i could just mute him. but honestly. fuck him and what he thinks. and fuck you RIOT. Sincerely- the guy who defends himself and gets reported for it.

Casual experience with the game (or any notable esports title today) is not the same as professional experience.

Just like backyard football (or any sport) is not the same experence as the NFL (or any league).

Your discussion to me is quite bland because you're using your own experience, which features complaining about the game and getting banned for your own actions, to result in you making the claims you are now. That just fails to add up. It's like you never thought of the effort to how much it takes to be a top performer in any competitive avenue.

From what it sounds like, you carry a mighty high ego for yourself and that makes you believe you can get verbal however you want. And now you got slapped with the reality that you can't do that, especially in a video game with guidelines as to what not to do. You do that stuff from the professional level in a sport or esport and you axed on the spot. Nobody wants a jackass tampering their image.

So here you are in a casual setting of a video game wanting to take it seriously but having no idea how to conduct yourself properly in the face of strangers. I realize long ago I can't make everyone me and I play my own game and not theirs. Idc about the strangers unless they're just as chill. If that ever became problematic, I'll just make friends and play with them. Simple as that.

In little to no way does your ban elude to anything of sports to esports regardless. That ban is your own fault if you decided to "defend yourself." But this is the wrong board to talk of that anyway. Resport to Player Behavior and provide some chat logs there if you want some meaningful opinions

When creating an account you agree to the terms of use, whhat includes YOU agreeing to follow the "Summoners Code" which are absicly a guideline for your behaveoir ingame. Not following the "Summoners Code" by flaming and harassing is breaking your part of the agreement which gives riot the right to terminate the whole thing taking away your right to play their game.

I persionally do not even understand that riot is so generous to give you 3 warnings (2 chat-restrictions and the 14-day ban) before disableing your account.

If you insult or even assault enemy players or the referee you are gonna get thrown off the field, repeat it often enough an no team is ever gonna let you play, because they do not want to risk playing with less players all the time.

Imma be honest I learned a lesson upon not using the mute button, then I deeply Thoth why should I blame riot, when the people on the earth love to to be like so on the internet. The only reason this happend is b/c of a new tradition on hating. I suggest oppressing the mute button
