Yellowstar did not like TSM, and I think that is where a lot of their teamwork problems came from. If TSM can get a support that can work with Doublelift, than they could return to their rightful place as NA's Team. ######obligatory TSM chant in 3... 2... 1.. #TSM! TSM! TSM!

Don't you find it strange that once Link left CLG they Finally won a split and beat TSM and it was all thanks to the MVP of the series and long time CLG member D.. Zionspartan ? He won the MVP not the long time Great CLG D-lift. CLG dropped D-lift and they Won Again.
I look at this next summer split and I don't think TSM will even make it to the Finals.
IF TSM does make it back win or lose I will take back what I said.

Last split their team was on the verge of greatness, but kept falling short due to poor teamwork. They proved at the end of the split that they can work together, and they removed YellowStar who constantly complained about how much he did not like the team.
III BAKURYU III 1 votesI'm Glad that Yellowstar left and I for 1 will not miss him. At the end of the split they got beat by Renegades and NRG and other 10-9-8 seeded teams.
Playoff run
Beat C9 3-1 After a 0-1 hole they came back using their vintage come from behind technique like they always seem to do.
Beat IMM 3-0 Lets be honest IMM beat themselves but I give 100% credit to TSM but IMM pick and bans were also 100% stupid.
CLG 2-3 Great series but 1 bad teamfight and it was over.
TSM looked great no doubt about that but times has changed and they will not make it to the Finals, I'm not saying they won't make it to worlds but not for the NA finals this year.

Laughing Fish1 votesBut as you pointed out they were barely behind CLG last split. CLG was one team fight better than them in a best of 5 series. And that was when TSM has a support that actively hated his team. Plus, TSM has always been better in series than in Bo1s, and all match-ups will be BO3 now. This new format will greatly favor TSM.
III BAKURYU III 1 votesThat I do agree TSM has always been great at BO formats but they fall behind on numerous accounts. Which means now if they do win 2-1 they still give other teams 1 point that might come back to bit them in the rear end if they don't watch out.
I'm not saying they will be garbage this next split and not saying they won't make it to the playoffs all I'm saying is that this split will be much harder as in the past Summer splits have always been much harder for them. I just don't see them making it to the finals or winning it for that matter. I hope they do but I don't see it.

III BAKURYU III 1 votesFact- Tsm has always had a much harder time in the Summer than in the Spring regular season splits.
They won only 1x NA championships in the summer and 2x in the spring Championships.
Overall record
SPRING SPLIT(4) 65-27
SUMMER SPLIT(3) 41-33
With a less of a split they already have passed the Spring split in losses.
This could be the First time EVER that TSM might not make it to the FINALS.
They have to stop living in the past with their META. Camp Mid is getting old and sure is fooling NA but thats easy to do compared to EU-LPL-LCK.
TSM is living in 2013 Protect the D-LIFT and 2014 Protect the Bjergsen.
Instead it should be 2016 Get better as a TEAM.

Laughing Fish2 votesI think IMT is overthinking things. I think they spend so much time creating perfects comps and strategies, that they lose their adaptability. If they get something wrong, they can't change quickly, and try to force it. I mean, WildTurtle still tried to out duel people as an ADC despite being behind in gold. His aggression works well when he is ahead, but when behind he collapses.
They might fix that, they might not. But they don't appear to recognize their flaws, while Regi has admitted to everything he did wrong last split, and is trying to fix it. TSM is evolving, and I don't think IMT will be able to keep up.

anonymous1191 votesSven and yellowstar during the regular season were the two worst performing players in the entire league. They had some of the worst stat line metrics and the most deaths of their role.
Sven massively improved during play offs and benefited from a meta shift to his best played champions. It's a bit worrisome to me if there is another meta shift then I don't have much faith in sven being able to adjust.
Yellowstar just never improved. He constantly engaged fights where the team was just too far to follow up on making the majority of his cc wasted when the team was collapsing usually to rescue yellowstar. His leadership clearly didn't work out for the team even when they needed it most during the early weeks. Watching doublelift play kalista and constantly using her ult as a "you're not suppose to be here" mechanic rather than to make plays was just sad. It was hilarious how much praise the shoutcasters would heap on yellow when he just played average because it was that much of an improvement over his regular play.
With the format change to bo3 and yellowstar gone then I think TSM has a fantastic shot at winning summer.

Lugg1 votesWell considering that TSM lost one of it's starters, I don't see that happening at all. There is no way they replace Yellowstar with someone of equal value, so they will actually be worse the Summer split IMHO.
TSM has always had the talent, but their coaching and analysts have always held them back. All they do is build and prepare to win NA and then get stomped internationally.
