So I'm thinking 8 teams in the NA LCS just isn't enough! I want to see more games and a greater variety of competitions and rivalries. Is it a question of money? If they expanded it to 12 or preferably 16 teams we could see twice as many professionals and games! :D this would give many more players the opportunity to live the dream of being a pro player and give viewers more teams to cheer for!
While I would like to be able to watch more LCS games, I do not believe adding more teams to the league would be good.
You can only have so many teams before the talent becomes to far apart. I not believe having more Velocity-level teams in the LCS would be good.
To be honest I thought about it recently and i think we need less teams in NA LCS. When i watch it, the only matches that really entertain me are these where TSM,CLG,C9 and maybe Dig/Curse play. Just look at the viewers count on stream. 250k -> 150k when Coast/xdg play. I really hope LMQ joins LCS and they will reduce the amount of teams to 4 - C9-CLG-TSM-LMQ. But certainly it wont happen. The upper 3 teams are 2 times better than the lower 5. There are a lot of reasons why there are only 8 teams btw, but first think about it 1 more time, read my comment and then ill call them if im still around.
