NA vs EU Supports

Something I noticed is that in NA supports don't prioritize GP10 items, by 30 minutes they still have tier 1 gp10 items and it hurts their gold efficiency and they have no items.

EU supports prioritize the tier 3 GP10 item and become much more useful faster.

What is NA logic behind GP10 items because i feel like supports shud almost always get nomads medallion or rush faceofthemountain (if youre shen because of the HP) but also for Gold generation.

Nomads medallion gives so much passive gold for supports. it gives you passive gold ALWAYS and gold for just standing in lane when someone is csing.

Personally speaking, when I'm on support, I rush the Talisman of Ascension for better engages for my team, or better escapes for the team, if I'm on someone like Alistar, Soraka, or Nunu. If I'm supporting with Big Balls Syndra, it's either Talisman of Ascension, or Frost Queen's Claim. More gold generation means quicker Sightstone and other stuff, like a boots upgrade, or more support items, and an easy trinket upgrade. I really like the Talisman of Ascension's active, along with all the other stuff it gives. :)

That's something i don't get either. The active part of those items is soo strong that i usualy try to make as quick as possible whren i play support. Even in aram i build them, if i get the right champ

As a support main myself, I try to upgrade my GPM item first but there are times you will prioritize other items. Sometimes you need boots to avoid skillshots, sometimes you have to rush a pink ward if you are facing an Eve, and sometimes you need the sightstone for map control against jungs who can early steal dragon. However, those are usually the exception and you should upgrade your Gold item first. After that, it depends completely on matchups and game flow. Once I get my GPM item upgraded to tier two, I will normally go for my sightstone for map control and then boots to roam and help other lanes.
