Am I Wrong???

Hi, I need a little help. I need a second opinion (a lot of them really) Lets start with some background info.

I am participating on my Highschools Esport team in an attempt to get scholarships. I love this game and I'm not the best but I have room to grow. I currently sit at Silver 4 (this last season was my first season playing ranked.) I play a fair amount and my best role is by far midlane. Sadly though I didn't get midlabe in tryouts and got ADC (only because no one else could ADC) so I've been playing that recently. I really don't enjoy this role, your entire job is to right click the whole game. Right click minions for farm Right click champions for kills Right click dragons for Soul Right click Baron for empowered Minions Now I know that every role has to right click for a lot of these things but it seems that ADC does it the most with a few exceptions. (I'm looking at you Master Yi) Your entire kit is just one or two skill shots, maybe a mobility or spell shield, and your ult. Is it really fair to consider ults as abilities though, I mean each one is supposed to be unique to the champion. Anyways our little makeshift scrap team of misfits includes me and my Midlane who are both Silver 4 and 3, our top lane and jungle are bronze, and my support has never touched ranked. My support isn't even one of those people who just don't play ranked but they are really good, in fact my support is just kinda bad. I'm not trying to be a dick but is it really fair for me to be held back whenever my support is giving the Caitlyn 5,6 maybe 7 kills within the first 10 minutes? What am I to do? I play Jhin and Jinx because I like Jhin's high damage in short burst (reminds me of midlane) and Jinx because of how chaotic she makes the game. My Jinx has been banned almost every game during this last season (we have a little scouting phase before the match starts a lot like clash) and that leaves me with Jhin. I can play the other ADC's but I don't really enjoy them. Is it really fair for my chances of scholarships to be screwed simply because I have a support who feeds the Caitlyn??? I don't think so but maybe I'm wrong. If you are still here I'd appreciate a response.

League of Legends is a hella popular game nowadays. You can't find a support better than S4 in the whole school? Gamers don't tend to be the type who are drawn to clubs and teams, but if you find someone who plays the role they're likely to be willing to join if you phrase the request correctly.

So, as someone who's only gold, let me put something to you straight out that needs to change first and foremost.

If this is an official high school thing for you, you need to get the "my support is screwing me over" mindset out of your head. You are a TEAM, whether you were put together overnight or not, and whether you like it or not. And whoever your support is, you're stuck with them, so you'd best start figuring out what's what.

Second of all, and please take this as lightly as possible, you're only silver 4, with most likely less than one season under your belt. If nothing else you should be focusing on learning the game before you start thinking about esports teams and scholarships.

Lastly, you're a team. You should be practicing and coordinating like one if you want to win games and/or tournaments.
