Faker plays in the LCK? LPL is the chniese league...considering theree are quite many chinese people it´s save too assume that they indeed have the biggest viewer numbers though (not to mention that they have the best league in terms of skill and entertainment, fighting it out hard and fast almost every time).

He is playing in LCK but a team in the LPL offered him 1 million dollar to join them - i just found something about their viewers it's always between 500k and 1 million viewers.

well, china does have incredible rich companies/people and is always kinda competing with the "west", so it wouldn´t surprise me if they indeed saw some potential there and put a lot of money into the LPL - kinda like Russian billonairs buy out european soccer.

I want to, but I find it hard to know where to begin. In NA/EU, I am familiar with players and teams, have those I like and dislike. But in the LPL and LCK, I don't reallly know where to begin. I guess I need to just start watching.

I watched today on the official streaming site LPL and they had 500k viewers, but i love how they are playing in the LCK and LPL it's totally different then our western games :P

The thing is, China has a rapidly growing gaming industry, and League was one of the first games to get big in that area. It then feeds on it's on popularity and gets even more popular, to the point where 500k are watching a pro game at one time.
