Our favorite feathered friend took flight from Vancouver to watch a new champion get crowned in Boston at the 2017 NA LCS Summer Finals on September 2-3.

Me too! Most of my childhood and teenage years were spent in Massachusetts as I live down in Norfolk. I went to the Dota 2 Major in Boston at the Wang Theatre last December. Always wanted a LoL event that wasn't just at PAX. Now they're bringing a summer LCS finals here; this is going to be super exciting for Boston. I hope TD Garden is the venue. A friend and I are definitely going to attend this event.

As a massive TSM fan , a new england resident, (worked in boston for almost 6 years) and a wicked hardcore sports fan, i can not possibly overstate how excited I am for this! !! I hope TSM makes it to the finals again so I can experience the deafening TSM chants that Boston fans will bring. .. Boston is known to have the most intense fans for their teams! !!!

Boston averages about 70 degrees F in September, Orlando averages 90. I would honestly rather be in Boston.

And the entire event is indoors and therefore it doesn't matter. Worlds Semis was in NYC in October.

I was there for semi finals, rainy foggy weekend it was in NYC 😑 and hopefully I'll be on Boston this fall!

Lived there for almost 2 years, near Foxboro. Got 36in of snow in November. Snowed in May that year. It rains a lot in September.

I lived like an hr away from Boston. Do not take this away from me. Plus it's summer right now, and it's 50F. Weather here is hella bipolar, but they are playing in an arena anyhow. It will be alright.

September isn't even fall in Boston. September 2-3rd is still late summer. All the trees will be green still and the weather will be lovely (70s probably).

I like how the NA Finals takes place in Boston and how NA got beat (kinda) 1-1 in Groups from G2, easily could have been 0-2 and how EU are coming back strong this year.

British - Eu, just wouldn't be the same as saying " The EU players are coming". The "Boston Massacre" situation. NA taking place in Boston, while at the same time EU is growing stronger while it seems NA is getting weaker. That's what I was saying kinda, sorry if it confused you.

Hmm, so from what I can understand they've gone to New york, Toronto, and Boston in the past year. Either one of the LCS organizers has AL-east season tickets, or there's a huge coincidence going on with locations.

Summer Finals takes place on a holiday weekend so you can plan to do your homework on Labor Day (Monday, September 4).
