Watch the first trailer for Legends Rising

Riot·Aug 23, 2015·1 votes·42,570 views

Bjergsen. Faker. Uzi. BrTT. xPeke. SwordArt.

You’ve seen them redefine what’s possible, testing the mechanical boundaries of pro play to become some of the biggest names in LoL esports. But once the crowds clear out and the monitors switch off, what pushes these pros to be not only better, but the best?

Legends Rising goes beyond the game and explores the inspirations, fears, and inner workings of some of the world's prominent players. Driven by the pursuit of perfection and haunted by past defeats, six pros from six countries will rise up to become legends. These are their stories told from the inside.

Watch them rise in the six-part series, airing this fall.

Can anyone kindly explain the Brazilian LoL scene and brTT's background?

I know its not "offical" but if this doesnt make you a fan NOTHING will. http://lol.gamepedia.com/BrTT

As you may expect, the eSports scene in Brazil wasn't big years ago so many of the players today went through a lot of shit to compete. I don't want to spoil it, but BrTT has a very emotional history.

Honestly their life is less glamorous than it looks. I think about Dioud, Pain Support, who is french. Can you imagine someone so young going to a country so different, so far away and with a language nobody else in the world speaks (BR portuguese is different from Portugual portuguese)? That's awesome too.

I am sure every region has its storys, it will be great to see some of them.

Yeah, I'll watch the heck out of that.

Congrats on making a trailer that falsely advertises that it will be telling the story of Watch. Real smart :)

He's joking. It's just the way they put the word "watch" is the same way they presented the names and it just so happens there is another player that uses that name.

Like Kanye? Who the hell would want to be Kanye West?!

TOL MatilloAug 25, 20153 votes

Where is Huni he is the TRUE legend?

JimmyNtheKudosSep 10, 20153 votes

I know he's top 3 ADC in the world, but I don't think Uzi is going to worlds why include him? or does this not have anything to do with worlds?

No More OreoSep 11, 20152 votes

The documentary was probably filmed way before Worlds. They probably picked out a prominent player from each region. You can't just cut out a region at this point.

JimmyNtheKudosSep 11, 20151 votes

Not cut out a region, but choose someone else. But yeah it probably was filmed before.

BukBukLouSep 19, 20151 votes

Yeah i think the odds of any player going back to worlds from the Chinese region would be Uzi because hes made it to finals twice and then moved to the chines dream team which failed horribly but yeah...

I have a question, whoever knows please answer me, In minor countries, like here in Greece, how we will watch those 6 episodes ? Are they going to be posted in the Game Looby or what ?

ƒiftySep 5, 20152 votes

They will typically have a link Right on the in-game home screen. If you dont find them there, they will all be on youtube

Honestly the best trailer I've seen in a long time.

And there is those trailers that make me watch one time without paying attention and this... The one that really inspire me since the beginning to be someone better in everything I do - not only LOL - and made me almost cry of happiness seeing the best of the best rising from the ashes to something legen-waitforit-dary.

Is this some kind of replacement for this year s road to worlds if there will be one???

PlümeSep 1, 20151 votes

Road to worlds was a documentary split up into 6 videos, not a continuous series. This will probably be similar, except focusing more on individual players instead of entire teams...
