Remember to vote for next week's champion, Jax!

1. Meteos- 57.9% (963 Votes)

LCS Elise Stats:
  • Games Played: 5
  • Games Won: 3
  • Win Rate: 60%
  • Average KDA: 6.1
While there are champions that can be successful without them, some kind of gap close or cc makes early game pressure and ganks much easier. Missing skill shots on a gank can end up wasting valuable jungle clearing time. Elise's cocoon can be very difficult to hit if the teammate you're ganking for doesn't have some kind of reliable cc, so try to auto attack with red buff to make it a bit easier for yourself.

2. Shook - 15.8% (262 Votes)

LCS Elise Stats:
  • Games Played:9
  • Games Won: 7
  • Win Rate: 77.8%
  • Average KDA: 2.9
Shook reinforces what Meteos told us, because even the pros know that it's easy to miss a cocoon. The red buff slow will also make it easier for your laners to hit any cc they have, like a Thresh hook or a Nami bubble.

Community Tips

This week, we got some bonus tips from a few more pro players and some more great advice from members of the community!
There was a little debate on Twitter around this one so I tested this myself just to be sure (not that I don't trust you, Dom). Using Flash immediately after casting cocoon cancels the channeling animation and casts the cocoon instantly from the final location of the Flash. This means less time for the enemy to react and a higher chance of hitting them.
While diving turrets can be dangerous, especially in the early game, it’s also a great way to snowball your lanes. As SomePlatDude points out, Elise is great at initiating since she can so easily get out of tower aggro range.
Even though I'm sure none of us have ever missed Elise's stun, Brokenshard offers a great tip for chasing down enemies. If you've got fast enough fingers, you can also use this tip as a way to get in position for a better chance at landing the stun in the first place. Vote for next week's Pro Tip to help decide which pros will weigh in on Jax!

I'm with PartyPanda on this. It's simply not possible to say that one is better than the other. In my opinion both Meteos and Shook are amazing junglers and I'm hopeful to see both of them at Worlds (perhaps we'll get to see them go head to head?). Each has a pretty unique style of play with Shook tending to be more aggressive and Meteos with a vision/control focus. If anything Shook may be more versatile and have a deeper champion pool, but Meteos has a great mind for jungle strategy. It will be very interesting to watch if these two guys meet up at Worlds.

Shook is clearly better on Elise than Meteos. I am not salty or anything I'm just pointing out a fact. I guess that comes with fan voting and not expert voting. :)
