MSI....Boring?

Am I right in my thinking when I'm thinking the MSI is supposed to be like an all star weekend (basketball) or the pro bowl (I think that's what it's called, and it's from football)? To be honest the MSI already seems boring to me (even if it is my first year starting to play league, and also watching the pro games). Why not make it more of an eventful all star weekend? For example, have the teams play some U.R.F. games vs other teams, have the fans select the teams champs to play in the games (troll or serious, preferably keeping it balanced), have 2 teams go at it with the exact same team comp to see who can get the W, play an aram, have rising stars games, also have the most highly respected pros play, etc..

Seems to me there should be more to it.

Danielas Kitten actually does make sense. But, still that crowd isn't as hyped. But, I'm gonna say it's because TSM lost and because it's a Thursday

I'm watching it and that crowd seems very quiet (well, it's thursday, so it makes sense). I'm going on Saturday and I will be extremely disappointed if we arent cheering

I find urf fairly boring to watch and they tried hexkill before and to me it didn't work well. esport still got a long way to go.

MSI is a way for teams to test out Worlds strategies without having to worry about losing. IT isn't anything like "real" sports AllStar games.

The EU vs NA battle (FNC vs TSM) should be clear proof of this therefore.

Maybe I should phrase it different. Yeah it's cool to see all the top teams battle and all, but I want to see other things like tsm vs skt in an U.R.F. match or something other than the normal 5v5 rift games. Kind of the same thing as the NBA having the slam dunk contest. I want things like that.
