MWL15 - 8/28-8/30 Metro-Milwaukee area LAN party w/ over $2k in value for 5v5 LoL tournament!
Hey everyone, my name is Alex and I'm the Event Admin for MidWestLAN, a LAN party group that has been operating out of southeast Wisconsin the better part of the last 12 years.
MidWestLAN15 kicks off on August 28th and will be a 50 hour, 100+ gamer event featuring 3 different Main Event cash tournaments - among them a League of Legends 5v5 tourney which has a $600 guaranteed prize pool with a bonus $300 added by MWL plus over 1.5k in additional gear sponsored by SteelSeries! Plus, if we can get 8 teams we'll have some Riot sponsored prizes - including the Triumphant Ryze skin.
We also have our new Silver Series events - tournaments without an additional cash buy-in but still containing some great prizes for the winners. A 5v5 ARAM tournament headlines these Silver Series events - with SteelSeries Siberia v3 headsets for the winners.
Our last LAN drew almost 100 people and 6 League teams, we're hoping to push at least 10 this time. We're expecting a good draw from across the midwestern USA, and we hope to see some of you there!
