i dont even play professionally and after 5-6 hours of anything my wrists ache and are not 100% for a few days... im sure they experience it a hell of a lot worse then i do

No. The bane of Esports athletes is time. First reason is biological. With increased age, reflexes start to slow and mental focus lowers. Second is technological. As new versions of games release, or long running games get patches to change balance, it can drastically change the game away from being able to be played how someone did it best. Part of what makes Faker special is how he was famous for assassins and burst mages in mid, and over time he has played supports, control mages, tanks, and even fighters in mid lane across the years.

Also, Time affects ALL Esports players. Sports games, MOBAS, RTS, fighters...not all Esports use a mouse and keyboard that strain the wrist. The article is interesting but only gives three examples across all of Esports of carpal tunnel affecting a player.
