Cop: Fit for Duty

With a new season comes new stars and new stories. Here is one of the players you should look out for in 2015! Team: Gravity Region: North American LCS Position: AD carry When Cop left Curse at the end of Season 4, he immediately set his sights on fresh horizons. Though not a giant leap, his joining Curse Academy -- now Gravity -- gave him two things he wanted: "Playing with a new team was something I really wanted to do," Cop says. "I was looking forward to playing with Bunny in the bot lane again and seeing if I had what it took to make LCS again.” In the Expansion Tournament, Cop’s play hinted that his transfer was the catalyst needed to push him to the next level. He and Bunny FuFuu confidently took control of the bot lane, shedding his past criticisms of playing too passively. Against quality AD Carries Brandon ‘DontMashMe’ Phan and Zachary ‘Nientonsoh’ Malhas, Cop took champions like Sivir and Corki and played them like he stole them, ending matches with records like 5/1/1 and 12/3/14, respectively. “I don’t focus on anything that has happened in the past, I just focus on what’s ahead of me,” Cop says. “I’m mainly looking forward to learning things from playing against Piglet since he has a lot of experience and game knowledge.” Cop undeniably has a lot to prove, but with a new team and a new lease on the LCS, we’ll see if he has what it takes to succeed.
