As one of the new faces in the league, the Copenhagen Wolves have made quite a splash. Throughout the season, they’ve shown flashes of greatness, and now have all but guaranteed themselves a spot in the playoffs. A rookie team with a 46% rate is nothing to laugh at. The key to their play lies in stupendous individual talent, and if let free at All-Stars, any one of them could end up stealing the show.
The captain of the Copenhagen Wolves is no joke. From the top lane, Youngbuck has set a precedent for solid play and even more solid leadership. Heading the reformation of the Wolves, he has hand-built the team that is now threatening to upset the upper levels of the EU LCS. And now, he’s primed for a run into the playoffs. In the top lane, Youngbuck isn’t always the flashiest or most exciting member of the Wolves, but he’s a consistent leader who can make a big difference should he get sent to All-Stars.
Amazing is one of the breakout Junglers of the year. He’s the only Jungler in EU with any weekly MVPs… and he has two of them. His 23.0 KDA in Week 6 was especially impressive. has climbed up the ranks and now sits just shy of greatness.
As a core member of the Wolves, Amazing has flashed signs of brilliance that have kept his team out of the basement of the EU LCS. Inconsistency problems seem to be their biggest flaw, but Amazing has shown that he can rise above the game and perform well regardless of the situation. A clear rising star, Amazing just lacks a single big performance. Given a chance at All-Stars, he could very well return to Germany a legend.
As one of the challenger players prior to the 2014 season, CowTard was one of the brightest lights to be seen. His play during Promotions was outstanding and he was one of the main reasons that the Copenhagen Wolves got into the LCS in the first place—in the final games against MYM, CowTard ended with a 24/11/23 stat line.
Since then, he’s done well to keep the Wolves in the game. He’s a smart Mid Laner that strives to play well no matter what. Take, for instance, his Week 9 KDA. Despite two losses, he ended with 5 kills and 7 assists to only 3 deaths. He’s a consistent player and can only bring strength to any All-Stars team he is added to.
Forg1ven is a unique player by many regards. On top of being one of the only Greek players in the highest levels of the game, Forg1ven has some of the highest CS numbers ever recorded. His focus during games is unmatched, and he’s made a point of remaining active during all phases of the game.
He also works well with others. Despite being one of the newest members to the Wolves, he’s formed a tight bond with Unlimited, and they have made it a point to perfect their communication. If selected for All-Stars, he should have no problem forming a similar kind of partnership with whichever Support he is paired with.
Unlimited has been a fairly quiet member of the Wolves, but nonetheless effective. When partnered with Rekkles last year, the pair was deadly. But perhaps even more impressive is that he seems to have only gotten better with his new carry. Forg1ven has the highest CS in the EU LCS, and Unlimited’s presence in the bottom lane along with him is a large reason as to why. Unlimited is a great Support who has proven that he can empower some of the best AD carries in the region, and would be a great pick for All-Stars.
