Don't start these Fantasy players

Riot·Jan 22, 2015·0 votes·32,158 views

Hey Fantasy players, there have been some changes to the LCS rosters for at least Week 1 of the LCS. Here are the temporary roster changes: Team Impulse

Keenan "Rhux" Santos replaces Eon-Young "Impact" Jeong in the top lane position

Team Liquid

Yuri "KEITHMCBRIEF" Jew replaces Chae "Piglet" Gwang-jin in the AD carry position

Winterfox

Cuong "Flaresz" Ta replaces Donghyeon "Avalon" Shin in the top lane position

Ryan "ShorterACE" Nget replaces Dongjin "Helios" Shin in the jungle position

Meet Your Makers

Marius "Blizer300" Hæsumgaard replaces Marcin "Kori" Wolski in the middle lane position

So, if you've got any of these players on your Fantasy LCS team, make sure to change them before rosters lock! [Editor's note] We have added Kori's replacement to the list.

You forgot ZionSpartan!

SweetcheeksJan 22, 20151 votes

Zionspartan isn't going to play?! Can somebody confirm this?

HeihachiHairlineJan 22, 20151 votes

He was fined and CLG was. for going against rules so he has to sit the first week out

SweetcheeksJan 23, 20151 votes

So I'm just gonna get 0 points in toplane because I have both Impact and Zionspartan :S

nice1nycJan 22, 20154 votes

of course i had helios, impact and piglet. just my luck =)

NerfMyBrokenBladJan 22, 20153 votes

Thank you so much. I had impact in my top lane

unvaxxed4lyfeJan 22, 20152 votes

Sooooo i just shouldnt have these guys as my starters, right?

THE KILLER GUYJan 22, 20152 votes

Good thing this happened ONE FREAKING DAY BEFORE ROSTERS LOCKED. I had Helios AND Avalon starting as well as WFX as my team and Altec as my adc and now they have a sub top and jg.... and Impact as my alt top laner....I was almost so screwed.

Jupîter JazzJan 26, 20152 votes

is piglet playing in week 2?

Rakan 69Jan 22, 20151 votes

Why aren't the Winterfox bros playing?

DarkwindJan 22, 20151 votes

It's all visa issues most likely

Riot, as you strive to take over the world it would help greatly to provide detailed updates in your news articles. It's totally bitchin' that there are subs but why? What happened? Get some quotes from these guys that have to sit. Preesh.

EleshakaiJan 22, 20155 votes

I'd lay odds that every single one of these is a Visa issue.

DPRK Rammus RamJan 22, 20152 votes

Barring Kori I believe that's the case. Kori on the other hand is apparently a recent development? Haven't looked into it myself.

OneSlickPhonyJan 22, 20151 votes

Looks like I'm no longer #1 on my league thanks to Riot! I get to replace half of my team with worse players, woo!

Classic Riot, why am I even surprised.

Oh man, just look at all these filthy Reddit whiteknight sheep plebeians downvoting. I'm not angry because they're not actually people.

Smart KittyJan 22, 20153 votes

It's 1 week, if your team is really good, you'll win anyways.

Here's the thing, my team isn't good anymore because of this.

Is logic hard? If my picks got replaced with something actually good, I wouldn't be pissed about it, would I?

its one week of switch outs over a 9 week split. Chill out and grow up. and research better.

RodnihJan 22, 20151 votes

Why havent they told us why they are going to be out for week one

really wish this was said before all my Eu subs are locked and can't be switched into play

TheWildVegetableJan 23, 20151 votes

I didnt see this until it was too late and EU locked in. Oh well, I believe in Piglet week 1 even if everyone else doesn't. He'll outscore everyone that shows up

Ecchi ShiyozeJan 23, 20151 votes

well aint that awesome. now i cant even get a new adc since eu adcs r locked..

Do we have any indication as to whether they'll playing week two? Or three?

That Kori update would have been helpful a little sooner....
